By the grace of Almighty Allah, we are pleased to announce that we have finally acquired a place for our Islamic center “Tristate Bab-ul-Ilm Islamic Center of Delaware” (TBICD). It is the first Islamic center for Shia Muslims in the state of Delaware conveniently located close to New Jersey, Philadelphia, PA and Maryland within I mile of I-495 and I-95 exits. All brothers & sisters from NJ, PA,

& MD are welcome to join and support. We are a growing community in the State of Delaware and in neighboring States and definitely needed such a center for our needs. We are planning to start and establish Namaz and Majalis asap.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maryam Fatima Jafri, beloved daughter of Mohammed Mahmood Jafri and wife of Dr. Mohammad Iqbal of New Castle, Delaware, USA, on September 7, 2026. She was the eldest sister of Syed Najamul Hassan Jafri, Toronto, Canada.

Please remember the Marhuma in your prayers and recite Sūrah al-Fātiḥah for the peace of her soul. May Allah (SWT), through the intercession of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) and his Ahlul Bayt (AS), forgive her, elevate her station in Jannah, and grant patience and strength to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

A Special Invitation to Our Young Momineen & Mominaat
Dear Parents,
We would love for every child to participate in tonight's Kids Arbaeen Walk.
Children are welcome to:
🖤 Ask any questions they may have about Islam, Imam Hussain (A.S.), Karbala, or any topic on their minds.
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents are also welcome to ask their own questions.
🎤 Recite a Noha, Salawat, a few verses from the Holy Qur'an, or anything they would like to share in honor of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
Molana Rehan Naqvi (NY) will be walking with the children and families and will be answering questions during the Arbaeen Walk.
I know it's a weekday and everyone has school and work tomorrow, but I truly hope you can bring your children. The goal is simply to have every child participate, feel included, and strengthen their love for Ahlul Bayt (A.S.).
We look forward to seeing all of our young Azadars today and plan to stay for Arbaeen majlis .

Tonight is the 20th Safar – Arbaeen Commemoration at Tri State Babulilm Islamic Center of Delaware (TBICD).
Join us as we remember the ultimate sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the journey of the captives of Karbala.
