Hey PCK families! 💙
Our church’s One Word this year is Devoted, and we want to help you invite your kids into what that looks like in everyday life.
A simple way to explain devotion to your child is this:
Devotion is when you care about something so much that you give it your time, attention, and heart.
For little ones, that might look like simple prayers, worship songs, sharing toys, and obeying parents and leaders.
For elementary kids, it could be praying when they’re worried, reading their Bible, and choosing to follow Jesus at school, with friends, and at home.
Parents, keep the conversation going this week by asking:
• What does it look like to be devoted to God in our family?
• When was it hard to follow Jesus this week?
• How can we show God we love Him with our time and choices?
Devotion isn’t about being perfect—it’s about choosing God every day. We’re excited to live a devoted life together this year!
