Port City Kids is the Children's Ministry at Port City Church that is responsible for kids birth through 5th grade. We believe that your kids matter to God, and so they matter to us!

Kids get time to play and enjoy a treat, while parents connect and recharge over coffee and conversation. Whether you’re meeting someone new or deepening a friendship that’s already begun, CONNECT is about creating space for real conversations and growing together as a community.

📣 Port City Kids Wilmington Parents!!!

Each month, our kids learn a new Memory Verse: one for Grow Zone and one for Treasure Island! 💛

Every Sunday, we encourage your kids to learn, practice, and memorize their verse. But the learning doesn’t have to stop when they leave church! You can help us by practicing the verse with your child throughout the week. Whether it’s in the car, at the dinner table, or before bed, those little reminders can make a BIG difference!

Grow Zone parents- When your child memorizes their verse, have them share it with their teacher for a sticker!

Treasure Island parents- Every week your child has the verse memorized they can add their name tag to name tag mountain! Parents, you can join in too!

You’ll see these familiar faces around Grow Zone and Treasure Island on Sunday mornings! They work alongside our staff and volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming, and meaningful experience for your kids each week.

If you see them around, be sure to say hey and introduce yourself! 👋✨ We’re so excited to have them serving with Kids Ministry!

⛰️IT’S TIME TO BUILD NAME TAG MOUNTAIN!⛰️

Wilmington Campus families, we’re challenging our Treasure Island kids (and parents!) to memorize Scripture in a fun way all year long! Each month, we’ll have a new theme verse, and every time your child memorizes it, they can add their name to our growing Name Tag Mountain!

We’ll have one Name Tag Mountain for K–3rd graders and another for 4th–5th graders, so everyone can join in and grow at their own level!

And parents, you can join in too! Memorize the verse with your child and add your name alongside theirs.

Our verse for the rest of August is:
“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16b

By the end of the year, we’re hoping to have HUGE mountains—and an even bigger reminder of how much God’s Word we’ve learned together!

CELEBRATE MOVE UP WITH YOUR PORT CITY KIDS FAMILY!

Join us at Islands in Ogden from 5-7pm THIS SUNDAY, Aug. 16th as we kick off the start of the school year together!

Who could say no to $1 tacos, froyo, and good community? Not me! 🌮 🍦

***And did I say we will be giving out ISLANDS GIFT CARDS throughout the night so you DEFINITELY don’t want to miss it!**

There’s no better way to spend our Sunday than celebrating our kids, eating good food, and enjoying a day together before the school year gets started! We will see you there!
