Tomorrow is an exciting Sunday at Wrightsville UMC, and we’d love to worship with you! Along with our traditional worship services in the Sanctuary, we’re celebrating the very first service of The Cove, our new modern worship service. There’s a place for you this Sunday!

✝ Worship in the Sanctuary: 8:15, 9:45 & 11:15 am

🌊 The Cove: Our first modern worship service begins at 9:45 am in the Fellowship Hall!

📖 Sunday School for all ages: 9:45–10:45 am

A Sunday morning note: With worship in the Sanctuary, The Cove and Sunday School all beginning promptly at 9:45, we encourage you to give yourself a few extra minutes to arrive and get settled. Children and youth are welcome to arrive at their Sunday School classes a little early so parents can be seated and ready for worship at 9:45.

Can’t join us in person? Our 9:45 am service in the Sanctuary streams live on Facebook, and The Vine, our prerecorded worship service, is available on YouTube beginning at 6 am.

Two upcoming opportunities to love our neighbors and serve our community!

⚾ Miracle League | Saturday, September 19, 9–11:30 am
All ages are invited to Olsen Park to run the bases and cheer on the players! The Miracle League of Wilmington is an accessible baseball league for children and adults with disabilities, where games are filled with joy, dancing, encouragement and plenty of home runs! During all three worship services, we’ll celebrate the ways Wrightsville UMC is serving throughout our community. Help us extend Christ’s love beyond our walls by bringing clothing and personal hygiene donations for Snipes Academy and Rachel Freeman Elementary. This Sunday marks a new beginning at Wrightsville UMC as The Cove, our new modern worship service, gathers for its first worship service at 9:45 am in the Fellowship Hall.

The first holy ground our guests step on isn't the Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall, it's the parking lot! We're looking for friendly, joyful people to fill the busiest spot on campus with welcome and grace from 9:15–9:45 am. A big THANK YOU to our United Methodist Men!

All summer long, this incredible team has faithfully prepared, cooked, and served Sunday morning breakfast filling our Fellowship Hall with delicious food, warm hospitality, and wonderful fellowship.

We are so grateful for the many early mornings, countless pancakes, and generous hearts that made this summer tradition so special. Thank you, UMM, for serving our church family so JOYfully all season long! We will certainly miss smelling the bacon as we come to worship on Sundays.

Join us Sunday morning at Wrightsville UMC for worship, Holy Communion, fellowship, and one last summer breakfast!

⛪ Worship & Holy Communion: 8:15, 9:45 & 11:15 am in the Sanctuary

🥞 Last Breakfast of the Season: 9–10:15 am in the Fellowship Hall, hosted by our United Methodist Men. Come hungry and don't forget to thank the men's breakfast team for another wonderful summer breakfast season!

📖 Adult Sunday School: 9:45–10:45 am
There will be no Sunday School for children or youth tomorrow, so we invite families to enjoy worship and Communion together.
