The Reformed Church Nursery School was established to serve the community by providing preschool education for ages 2 1/2 through Pre-K founded on Christian principles.We welcome children from all backgrounds as well as diverse cultures. Included with our developmentally appropriate curriculum the students of the Reformed Church Nursery School also receive Spanish class, Gym class and Chapel Time.

What a fantastic day at RCNS!

Our students took part in our Pancake Race fundraiser and what an amazing event it was! The children tackled a fun obstacle course while carefully balancing pancakes on plates. They spun, jumped, crawled, balanced, and navigated their way through every challenge with huge smiles, determination, and lots of giggles along the way.

A huge thank you to all of the family members and friends who came out to cheer on and encourage the children. Your enthusiasm and support helped make the event extra special for our little racers.

We would also like to extend an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored our students. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we not only reached our fundraising goal — we far surpassed it!

The funds raised will help us purchase new playground equipment along with exciting indoor toys and learning resources for our classrooms. Your support will directly benefit our RCNS children and we are so grateful to our wonderful community for making today such a success.

Spring has brought so much joy to our playground! Our students have been climbing, running, sliding, swinging and - most importantly - sharing laughter with friends, making the most of the beautiful weather and fresh air.

Outdoor play is an important part of our preschool day and we love seeing the children explore, imagine, and simply enjoy being kids together in the sunshine!

Looking for a nurturing, playful, and engaging start to your child’s school journey? 💚🐸

We have limited spaces available in our Green Frog classroom for the 2026–27 school year.

The Green Frogs are a wonderful introduction to preschool for children ages 2 years 8 months and up. Through our play-based curriculum, children build strong foundations for learning while having fun and feeling supported every step of the way.

In the Green Frog classroom, your child will enjoy:
✨ Early academic skill-building through hands-on activities
✨ Social-emotional growth in a warm, supportive environment
✨ Creative expression with arts, crafts, and open-ended projects
✨ Imaginative dramatic play that brings learning to life
✨ Sensory exploration (plenty of messy fun!)
✨ A joyful atmosphere that nurtures a lifelong love of learning

We also offer January start options for children who aren’t quite ready for a September start.

🐞 Our Lunch Bunch friends were celebrated the arrival of Spring with a cheerful, creative activity. 🐞

🐞 After playing outdoors and eating lunch, the children had a lot of fun crafting bright red ladybugs complete with googly eyes and big smiles. We loved seeing their excitement and the pride they took in creating their adorable ladybugs. 🐞

There’s nothing quite like the magic of a surprise… especially when it walks through the classroom door with a familiar smile!

Throughout March and early April, our students eagerly anticipated visits from their “Mystery Readers.” There were lots of excited guesses, big smiles, and excited reactions when the special grown-up was revealed!

Most of all, the children loved being read to. Sharing a favorite story together made each visit extra special and created such meaningful moments in the classroom.

A massive thank you to all of our Mystery Readers for bringing so much joy, excitement, and love of reading to our days!

The students of RCNS have been hopping into Easter fun with a wonderful variety of hands-on activities and creative projects.

All of that fun led up to today’s Easter celebration, where we gathered to enjoy a delicious snack of tasty treats. The highlight of the day was, of course, our energetic Easter egg hunt. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and eager kids dashing everywhere. Thank you to our families for helping make it so special!

March has been full of laughter, learning, and lots of hands-on fun at RCNS!

Our classrooms have been busy and each day has been an opportunity to discover something new. Our students have explored new ideas through play and creativity and we love watching them grow in confidence as they practice skills like sharing, problem-solving, and working together.

We had a sham-rockin’ good time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! Our classrooms were filled with giggles and smiles as the children came dressed in their festive green. 🌈✨🍀
