MAMDANI: “Socialism, to me, means that you will have WHATEVER YOU NEED to live a dignified life, and that it is the GOVERNMENT’S JOB to deliver on that.”

I’ve heard a line like that before. It came from a famous book, and it was describing the highest stage of communism.

*NOTE: For the public record when I say “get the hell out of the pulpit” here, I explain in podcast I mean that in the literal, Biblical sense of the term.

Lies from hell are in a pulpit when someone stands behind it and tells people she isn’t sure Jesus existed. That kind of hell needs to be out of a pulpit.
