✨ Sunday Reflection | Pentecost Sunday ✨

“The Price of Oil”
📖 Acts 1:1–13; 2:1–4

On Pentecost Sunday, we were reminded that oil is valuable because it carries power, purpose, and sacrifice.

In the natural, oil becomes expensive when there is conflict, change, and sacrifice connected to it. The same applies spiritually. The oil of the Holy Ghost came at a great price — the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ.

⛽ Oil is essential.
No matter the cost, people still pursue it because it has value and power. Spiritually, we must understand that the anointing also has a cost.

This next season will require:
🙏 Elevated prayer
🙏 Fasting
🙏 Consecration
🙏 Greater commitment to God

You cannot go where God is taking you with old oil. There must be a fresh pressing and a deeper surrender.

Something catastrophic had to happen before we received the oil of the Holy Ghost, and because of that sacrifice, we now have access to power, direction, and transformation through God’s Spirit.

🔥 It’s worth the oil.
The process may be costly, but the outcome is priceless.

Today, Liberty Christian Center celebrates the POWER of Pentecost and the powerful word delivered by Minister Rodgers. We are so proud of her and are covering her in prayer as God elevates her in this new season.

Subject: The Best Kept Secret
Scripture: Psalm 91:1–4 | 1 Corinthians 1:26–27; 2:1–5

God has always desired private time with His people.
There are things He will only reveal in the secret place.

Not everything God tells you is meant to be shared.
Some people will pray against what God is trying to produce in your life.
That’s why wisdom, discernment, and silence matter.

The enemy wants to destroy your vision and your purpose, but there is protection when you stay hidden in God.

If you get in the secret place, there is:
✨ Deliverance
✨ Protection
✨ Direction
✨ Revelation

Sometimes we judge God by what we see naturally, but God works beyond what is visible.
He specializes in using unlikely people and unexpected situations for His glory.

There is a place in God where peace covers you, purpose is protected, and your spirit is strengthened.

🙌🏽 The secret place is still the safest place.

Subject: Strategic Warfare
Scripture: Joshua 3:12–17
Preacher: Apostle Harriette

Some of what you’ve gone through was a test to see if you could survive the journey.
Not to destroy you — but to prepare you.

Joshua was a strategic warrior, and God is calling us to move with strategy, obedience, and discernment.
You must listen carefully and make sure you are doing what God instructed you to do concerning what you’ve been praying for.

God requires His people to be different.
We cannot respond to people the same way they respond to us.
Kingdom character matters.

Sometimes God allows us to stand in the Jordan — the place of trouble, pressure, and uncertainty — because He is developing us there.
The very thing that felt overwhelming is what’s shaping you into a stronger soldier.

What you’ve survived has built endurance.
What you’ve cried through has strengthened your faith.
And what you’ve overcome has prepared you for the next assignment.

⚔️ This is strategic warfare — and God is teaching us how to fight differently.

Subject: Open Seasons for the Promises of God: I’M COVERED
Scripture: 1 Samuel 16:1–5 | Psalms 62:1–4 | Psalms 91

Everyone is not chosen for a mighty work —
but you’ll know if you are by what you go through.

When the anointing comes, the enemy comes too.
That’s why you have to make a decision:
👉 You can’t be connected to the devil and call yourself God’s child at the same time.

God will fix things so you’ll be alright,
but the higher you go, the harder the trials.

The Word protects you.
What you hide in your heart will keep you when life tries to shake you.

If God puts you on a tower,
everything that tries to reach you has to work to get to you.

🛡️ I’M COVERED.

There is a secret place where God will hide you.
A place where you are protected, preserved, and kept.

But you have to recognize when you’re covered…
and sometimes you have to go back and get covered all over again.

Just like eagles —
it’s their covering that allows them to fly higher than others.

🙌🏽 Your covering is your protection AND your elevation.
