✨ SUNDAY REFLECTION ✨

WAITING ON THE MOVE OF THE GLORY OF GOD

Exodus 3:1–17 | Hebrews 12:1

Sunday’s message reminded us that God’s glory is not simply about making us feel His presence—it is about preparing us to properly handle what He is calling us into.

When God was preparing Moses for leadership, He first got his attention.

Moses was tending sheep when he encountered the burning bush. God was getting ready to move him from where he was into a place of purpose, leadership, and deliverance.

Sometimes before God promotes you, He has to get your attention.

God was calling Moses to be a deliverer because there was a people who needed to be delivered. And Moses had been selected to be different.

That means your struggle, your history, and even the places where you have been tested do not disqualify you from what God has called you to do.

In fact, God already knows your history.

He knew Moses’ history before He called him.

He knew his mistakes.
He knew his past.
He knew his limitations.
He knew what Moses had done.

And He still called him.

🔥 God is calling us to propel to another level.

But another level requires another level of preparation.

Sometimes God does His greatest work in us while we are in trouble. The difficult season may be developing the very character, courage, wisdom, and endurance we will need for the assignment ahead.

And here is something we cannot miss:

God saved you so you can help save others.

What God has brought you through isn’t just about you. There are people who will encounter God because of what He has developed in you.

So while we’re waiting on the move of God’s glory, let’s not simply ask, “God, when are You going to move?”

Let’s also ask:

“God, what are You preparing me to carry when You do?”

Don’t come into His presence only begging.

Come worshipping.

Come with expectation.
Come with surrender.
Come ready to listen.
Come ready to obey.

Because the glory is preparing us to handle things correctly when God moves us into what He has promised.

🙌🏽 THIS IS OUR PRAYER:

“Lord, show me how You want Your glory to be revealed through my life. Prepare me for the level You are calling me to. Make me ready to carry what You are about to place in my hands. Let my life bring You glory and let what You have brought me through become a testimony that helps someone else.”

We’re not just waiting for God to move.

We’re waiting for the move of His GLORY.

And when His glory moves, we must be ready to move with it. 🔥

🌊 Sunday Reflection: STRETCH OUT

Scripture: Luke 5:1–8 | Matthew 14:22–29

Sunday’s message reminded us that sometimes God will ask us to stretch beyond what is familiar, comfortable, and logical so that we can experience what only He can do.

Peter knew how to fish. It was his trade. He had the boat, the nets, the experience, and the knowledge—but after doing everything he knew to do, he still came up empty.

Then Jesus showed up.

When Jesus stepped into Peter’s situation, He didn’t ignore the problem. He stepped into the boat—the very place where Peter had experienced disappointment—and turned his problem into a platform.

And then came the instruction:

“STRETCH OUT.”

This time, Jesus was telling Peter to try again.
This time, it was going to work.
This time, there would be more than enough.

Peter had a choice: stay discouraged or stretch.

And because he stretched out, he experienced a miracle that exceeded his expectations. The catch was so great that it was more than enough to share.

But the stretching didn’t stop there.

Peter’s willingness to trust Jesus in the boat prepared him for his next miracle on the water. His faith eventually allowed him to do what wasn’t common—to step out of the boat and walk on water.

That’s the power of stretching.

Sometimes God allows us to go through situations that stretch our faith, our endurance, our trust, and our capacity because He’s preparing us for something greater.

Like a stretchy band, stretching increases flexibility and expands capacity. Spiritually, God uses the stretching seasons to:

✨ Expand our faith
✨ Pull more out of us
✨ Help us experience Him in new and profound ways
✨ Teach us to endure until we see the victory
✨ Prepare us for what we couldn’t handle before

You cannot keep asking God for MORE while refusing to stretch.

Maybe it’s time to pray more.
Maybe it’s time to fast more.
Maybe it’s time to consecrate yourself more.
Maybe it’s time to believe God for what you can’t see yet.

Peter had to remember what Jesus had already done before he could believe Him for what was next.

So today, don’t let yesterday’s disappointment convince you that tomorrow won’t produce a miracle.

Stretch your faith.
Stretch your expectation.
Stretch your obedience.
Stretch your trust.

Because there is another level on the other side of your willingness to stretch.

Sometimes the greatest move God makes in our lives begins with a simple but difficult decision…

To shift.

Yesterday’s message reminded us that even Jesus had to change His position to fulfill His purpose.

He willingly left the glory and comfort of Heaven because there was a need that only He could meet. There was a vacant position that no one else could fill. His shift wasn’t convenient—it was costly.

His new position meant experiencing rejection, betrayal, pain, suffering, and ultimately the cross. Yet He embraced every moment because His position was connected to our redemption.

The cross itself became a position of both vulnerability and complete surrender.

How often are we asking God for something new while refusing to move from where we are?

Sometimes the blessing isn’t waiting on God…

It’s waiting on us to shift.

The message challenged us to examine our own position.

* Is God asking you to move out of your comfort zone?
* Is there an assignment waiting on the other side of your obedience?
* Is there a place only you have been called to fill?

Just as Jesus stepped into the position of Redeemer, He now fills every position we need Him to be—our Healer, Protector, Teacher, Savior, Deliverer, and Friend.

The reminder was both simple and profound:

You have to change position to get what you’re believing God for.

Growth requires movement.

Purpose requires surrender.

Promotion requires repositioning.

And the higher the calling, the greater the responsibility.

This week, ask God:

“Lord, where are You calling me to shift?”

Don’t cling to what’s comfortable if God is calling you somewhere greater. Your next season may require a new posture, a new perspective, and a new position.

Because sometimes…

Shifting isn’t optional.

Shifting is necessary.

For weeks, God has been leading Liberty Christian Center into a deeper life of prayer. Prayer has been our foundation, but now God is calling us to another level.

Prayer changes us. The Word builds our faith. Faith produces evidence.

When you finish praying, get in the Word. Read it. Believe it. Live it.

We are no longer just praying for breakthroughs—we are stepping into the evidence of what we’ve been believing God for.

The Book of Acts reminds us that Jesus first trained the disciples, then filled them with the power of the Holy Spirit, and finally sent them. They didn’t perform miracles while they were in training. Their evidence came after they were empowered.

The question is…

What are you doing with the power God has already given you?

God is demanding more from us because He has entrusted us with more. He is pushing us beyond comfort and into complete dependence on Him.

One of the strongest challenges from Sunday’s message was this:

Push God for something that only He can do.

Don’t limit your prayers to what you can accomplish on your own. Ask God for what requires His hand, His power, and His glory alone.

Even in Acts 16, Paul and Silas found themselves in prison, but trouble became the stage for God’s miracle-working power. Your current situation is not evidence that God has abandoned you—it may be the very place where He intends to reveal Himself.

We’re being set up to go higher.

We’re developing courage.

We’re walking in the evidence of God’s promises.

As Maya Angelou wisely said,

“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any of the other virtues.”

This week, choose courage. Choose obedience. Choose faith.

Pray boldly.

Read the Word faithfully.

Walk in the power God has already placed inside of you.

And don’t just wait for evidence…

Become the evidence of what God can do through a life fully surrendered to Him.

Sunday Reflection | “And It Came to Pass”
Scripture: Isaiah 43:1–21

One of the greatest truths from Sunday’s message is found in four simple words:

“And it came to pass.”

What God was showing us is that whatever you’ve been carrying—whether it’s pain, disappointment, obstacles, fear, or weariness—it was never meant to stay.

The Israelites had to leave behind what was familiar because God was preparing them for something greater. Likewise, God is calling us to stop living in yesterday’s struggle and start walking in today’s promise.

Sometimes we continue to feel the effects of battles God has already brought us through. Like phantom pain, we sense something that’s no longer there. But Isaiah 43 reminds us that God is doing a new thing, and we cannot move forward if we keep looking back.

This week, remember:
✨ What God promised will come to pass.
✨ What you’re going through will come to pass.
✨ Your struggle has an expiration date.
✨ Don’t return to places, thoughts, or seasons God has already delivered you from.

Isaiah 43:18 challenges us:
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”

Today, choose to release what was and embrace what God is doing now. Resist the temptation to revisit old pain, old habits, and old fears. Lift your eyes, strengthen your faith, and continue moving forward.

Because when it finally comes to pass…

Give God all the glory.

Subject: The Lion and the Lamb So Holy
Subtitle: The Amazing Dichotomist Nature of Our God

📖 Scripture: 1 Samuel 23:1–4; 1 Samuel 30:8–9; 2 Samuel 2:11–13

Our God is not limited to one expression of His character. He is perfectly balanced, knowing exactly who He needs to be in every season of our lives.

Sometimes we need the Lamb—full of mercy, grace, gentleness, compassion, and comfort.

Other times we need the Lion—strong, fearless, powerful, and ready to fight on our behalf.

Just as a lion keeps its claws hidden until danger arises, God reveals His strength exactly when it’s needed. He is never late, never caught off guard, and always responds according to His perfect will.

One of the greatest reminders from Sunday’s message was this:

“We have a God that can be both.”

He is our:
🤍 Healer
🤍 Comforter
🤍 Provider
🤍 Deliverer
🤍 Protector
🤍 Peace
🤍 Strength
…and whatever else we need Him to be.

When you call on God, don’t put Him in a box. Call on Him according to your need, trusting that He is more than able to meet you where you are.

This week’s assignment:

Pray this prayer:

“God, I need You to be my __________.”

Then declare:

“God, I believe You, and I thank You for being my __________.”

No matter what you’re facing today, remember:

He is holy. He is powerful. He is love.
He is the Lion. He is the Lamb. He is our God.

🖤❤️💚 HONORING JUNETEENTH 🖤❤️💚

Today, we pause to remember, reflect, and celebrate the significance of Juneteenth—June 19, 1865—the day when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed.

Juneteenth is more than a historical event; it is a testament to resilience, perseverance, faith, and hope. It reminds us of the sacrifices of those who came before us and challenges us to continue pursuing justice, unity, and freedom for all people.

As believers, we recognize that true freedom is found in Christ. While we honor the progress that has been made, we also commit ourselves to being instruments of love, reconciliation, and healing in our communities.

Let us celebrate the rich contributions, culture, achievements, and legacy of African Americans while remembering the journey that brought us here.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
— John 8:36 (KJV)

May we never forget the lessons of the past, remain grateful for the blessings of the present, and continue building a future filled with faith, hope, and opportunity.

📖 The Price of Oil: Use It Wisely
Acts 2:14-16 | Joel 2:19-27

Pentecost was never just about receiving the oil—it was about understanding the price that was paid for it.

Before the disciples received the power of the Holy Ghost, they endured waiting, uncertainty, testing, and preparation. We often celebrate the outcome, but God wants us to appreciate the process.

An olive does not produce oil until it is crushed.

Likewise, many of the trials, disappointments, and hardships we’ve faced were not meant to destroy us. They were producing something valuable within us.

🫒 The crushing produced the oil.

What you’ve been through wasn’t wasted.
What tried to break you was actually preparing you.
There was more inside of you than you realized.

The oil God has placed on your life is precious. It came through prayer, perseverance, sacrifice, and deliverance.

Because of that, we must use it wisely:
✨ To bring healing, not harm.
✨ To fulfill God’s purpose, not man’s approval.
✨ To help deliver others, not just ourselves.

The oil provides:
🙏 A divine touch
🌱 Restoration
🌾 Abundance
🛡️ Protection

Now that we have the oil, we have a responsibility. Just as the disciples were empowered and sent out to work, we are called to go and help others experience the freedom and power of God.

The process may have been painful, but the oil was worth it.

🔥 Don’t waste your oil. Use it wisely.

✨ Sunday Reflection | Pentecost Sunday ✨

“The Price of Oil”
📖 Acts 1:1–13; 2:1–4

On Pentecost Sunday, we were reminded that oil is valuable because it carries power, purpose, and sacrifice.

In the natural, oil becomes expensive when there is conflict, change, and sacrifice connected to it. The same applies spiritually. The oil of the Holy Ghost came at a great price — the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ.

⛽ Oil is essential.
No matter the cost, people still pursue it because it has value and power. Spiritually, we must understand that the anointing also has a cost.

This next season will require:
🙏 Elevated prayer
🙏 Fasting
🙏 Consecration
🙏 Greater commitment to God

You cannot go where God is taking you with old oil. There must be a fresh pressing and a deeper surrender.

Something catastrophic had to happen before we received the oil of the Holy Ghost, and because of that sacrifice, we now have access to power, direction, and transformation through God’s Spirit.

🔥 It’s worth the oil.
The process may be costly, but the outcome is priceless.

God has always desired private time with His people.
There are things He will only reveal in the secret place.

Not everything God tells you is meant to be shared.
Some people will pray against what God is trying to produce in your life.
That’s why wisdom, discernment, and silence matter.

The enemy wants to destroy your vision and your purpose, but there is protection when you stay hidden in God.

If you get in the secret place, there is:
✨ Deliverance
✨ Protection
✨ Direction
✨ Revelation

Sometimes we judge God by what we see naturally, but God works beyond what is visible.
He specializes in using unlikely people and unexpected situations for His glory.

There is a place in God where peace covers you, purpose is protected, and your spirit is strengthened.

🙌🏽 The secret place is still the safest place.
