TRANSFORM: YOUTH EDITION RETURNS AUGUST 2–5!

Looking for a week filled with service, community, and fun? Transform: Youth Edition gives students the chance to stay overnight at the church, serve alongside friends, meet new people, and make memories that last long after the week is over. Meals are provided, including dinner each night and breakfast and lunch each day.

During Transform, volunteer teams partner with local homeowners and nonprofits throughout the community. Projects may include yard work, painting, light carpentry, home repairs, and other hands-on service opportunities. Each day begins with breakfast at the CLC (601 Market St., Williamsport) from 7:00–8:00 AM before teams head to their work sites until approximately 4:00 PM.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER IS TODAY! From June 22-26, First Church will have Vacation Bible School! At Vacation Bible School, children will learn about classic stories from the Bible while crafting, playing, dancing, and making new friends. This year's theme is "Rainforest Falls."
If you are interested in volunteering, visit firstchurch.cc/vbs and find "Volunteer Registration." Fill out the form completely and you'll be all set!
And don't worry! VBS runs from 9AM-12PM Monday-Friday. You also don't have to volunteer all 5 days! If your schedule only allows for one, you can volunteer for that day! But, if you can volunteer all five days, please sign up as we would be happy to have you! Reach out to Caroline or Brita if you have any questions. Thank you for serving with us!

Mark it in your calendars... Transform: Youth Edition - August 2-5! 📅

Back again for the third year in a row (wow!), Transform: Youth Edition, gives students an opportunity to stay overnight in the church and play games, engage in community and fellowship, and volunteer with their friends. This is a great opportunity to make some new friends and get to know your friends better! Dinner is provided each night, along with breakfast and lunch.

Some general information about Transform: During the week of TRANSFORM, volunteers are sent out in teams to a local homeowner's property or a local nonprofit, where they will serve alongside other community members to serve people who could use a helping hand. We do home repair and light carpentry, yard work, painting, and other similar work. Each day you volunteer, we will be meeting for a provided breakfast at our CLC building (601 Market St, Williamsport, PA) from 7:00AM - 8:00AM. At 8:00AM, we depart to our job sites where we work until 4:00PM each day, or until the work is done.
