We wrapped up August with a beautiful communion service.

We were reminded that prior to Jesus, the bread reminded the Jews of God's rescue - from slavery to freedom.  And that in Jesus, it represents our redemption from sin to freedom in Christ.

We eat and drink communion in remembrance of Him.

On Sunday, September 13, we will have the joy of honoring our sweet senior friends as part of our morning service. We’ll have a special time of recognition during the service, and immediately afterward, we’ll continue the celebration with lunch prepared by Pastor Ken and a hymn sing led by Bonnie. If you are 55 or older, this day is especially for you! There is no cost and no registration is needed. Please feel free to invite friends who are 55 or older to come and enjoy the day with us.

Starting tonight at 7pm and continuing throughout September, Wednesday night adult classes will meet in the Sanctuary for a class called, “hand in HAND”. We will learn about the relationship between God’s sovereignty and mankind’s choice, and how that impacts how we live. Each week we will hear the story of someone who experienced God’s sovereignty. Celebrate Recovery, Kids Life, nursery, and youth will still be meeting as usual. If you have any questions or would like more information, please email [email protected].

Last Sunday, we introduced our Nelson University students to the congregation and prayed over them as they begin their journey in this school of ministry. We're so proud of each of you! And we're rooting for your success! 😁

What an incredible Summer Splash we had last Sunday! 23 people were baptized! God is on the move and we’re so glad that we could be a part of such a special day. We love you Bethel family!

The annual AGKansas Men’s Conference is coming up on September 18-19. Life changing. Amazing worship and preaching.  You will never be the same!

Early bird pricing (if registered before September 4) is $88 for age 25+ and under age 25 is $78. (After September 4, the cost increases to $105 / $95.) Registration includes dinner on Friday night.

It will be held at Zaik Church in Wichita - just south of Kellogg on Webb Rd. The preservice tailgate party begins at 3pm on Friday, September 18, and the event begins at 6pm. Dismissal is Saturday, September 19, at noon. See the info in the above link for more details, including optional activities during the day on Friday (for an additional cost.)
