Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church is excited to officially welcome Julian Hammontree as our Youth Pastor!

Julian, we are grateful for your willingness to follow God’s call and serve alongside us. We are praying for you, your family, and the ministry God is entrusting to you as we seek to see our students know Jesus, grow in their faith, build authentic relationships, and live boldly for Christ.

We believe God has brought you to Leadvale for such a time as this, and we are excited to see what He is going to do through you and your family!

Tomorrow is an important day in the life of Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church!

We will have the opportunity to hear from our Youth Pastor Candidate, Julian Hammontree, as he shares his heart, vision, and calling for ministry with us. Following the presentation, our church family will have the opportunity to vote.

We are asking every member who is able to be present to make plans to join us. Our goal is 125 members present!

This is an important moment for Leadvale and especially for the future of our Student Ministry. Let’s come together, pray, listen, participate, and seek God’s will for our church.

What an incredible Homecoming Sunday at Leadvale! ❤️⛪️

As I sit back and reflect on today, my heart is simply full of gratitude. What a joy and privilege it was to celebrate 175 years of God’s faithfulness together as a church family.

I am so thankful for every person who played a part in making today so special. To our choir, musicians, sound team, volunteers, kitchen crew, leaders, and everyone who worked behind the scenes—thank you! And to everyone who came home to Leadvale today, whether you’ve been here your whole life or you were visiting for the first time, thank you for being part of this special day.

But more than anything, I’m thankful for the reminder that this celebration isn’t really about 175 years of what we have done—it’s about 175 years of what God has done. Generation after generation, He has been faithful to Leadvale.

As your pastor, I count it a tremendous blessing to serve this church during such a significant chapter in its history. I love this church, I love our people, and I’m excited about what God is going to continue doing through Leadvale in the days ahead.

A huge thank you to our Leadvale Students who came out tonight to help get everything ready for Homecoming this Sunday!

From moving tables and chairs to setting up for our fellowship meal, you jumped in with great attitudes and servant hearts. It’s encouraging to see our students willing to serve their church, and we’re so thankful for each one of you.

We’re looking forward to celebrating God’s faithfulness together this Sunday. Great job tonight, students—you made a big difference!

We are honored to welcome Dr. Randy Davis, Executive Director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, as our Homecoming guest preacher.

Following the service, we’ll enjoy a fellowship meal together. The church will provide the meat, rolls, and drinks—please bring your favorite side dish and dessert to share.

Come celebrate God’s faithfulness through the generations as we worship together and look forward to all He has in store for the future.
