Nina Ruth (Spiva) Chapman, age 90, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at 1:30 a.m. at Serenity Hospice House.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy
(Michael) Gates, Barbara (Bill) Jarnagin, and son Ronnie (Rosalyn) Chapman. She has 8 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, and 4 great-great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Charlotte Williamson and Helen Bullen, special sister-in-law Deloris Spiva, her special friend Linda Reed and a host of nieces and nephews.
Moma had been waiting and wanting to go to Heaven for quite some time. Her desire first of all was to see Jesus, then be reunited with our Dad Artie Chapman, her son Danny, her baby daughter Brenda, and her Daddy and Moma Lonnie and Maggie Spiva and her brothers and sisters gone on to Heaven.
We honored her request to not have a funeral.

Mrs. Nina Chapman, age 90, passed on to Glory in the early hours of May 25, 2026.
There will be no viewing, funeral, or graveside service at the request the family.
