Welcome back, Wheaton students! ❤️

We’re grateful to see our students returning to Wheaton this week, and we’re excited to welcome those who are here for the first time. We’re also grateful for the opportunity to build on College Care & Connections and continue creating a church community where students are known, cared for and connected.

Our hope is simple: to draw deeper into relationship with God and with one another. Come worship with us. Come meet people. Come share a meal. Come find your place in the life of the church.

We were so happy to have Caleb Liu and his wife visit us at Wheaton CRC, both in December and again this July!
Caleb is a former member of our church, and it has been a blessing to stay connected with him through BCCI and the ministry God has called him to.
We love our Christian brothers and sisters in China and are grateful for the opportunity to stay connected, hear what’s happening, and pray for them and the needs they are carrying.
Caleb, thank you for stopping by, sharing with us, and continuing to serve faithfully. We’re grateful for you and will keep praying! 🙏

Our Young Professionals had a wonderful time with Pastor Mac Weiner, who joined us and surprised Tommy Vandermolen who was his student at Timothy Chrisitan School.
Pastor Mac shared about the providence of God and the importance of learning to live in His presence. He reminded us that true success is not just about what we accomplish, but about growing deeper in our relationship with God through prayer.
He walked us through his professional journey and his ministry at Bangkok Chicago Christian International School.
He candidly spoke about human weaknesses and limitations, encouraging us that God works through us even when we feel inadequate. Our strength comes from Christ, not from ourselves. As Paul writes in Galatians 2:20, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”
Grateful for the time together, the meaningful conversations, and the reminder to seek God’s presence in every season.

Please join us in praying for our recent grad Helen Elgie as she spends time in Nantes, France, nannying for a family and making a short trip to Moldova.
Pray that this season would be one of refreshment and renewed strength. May God bless her as she serves the family with grace and joy.
As Helen eventually prepares to return to the States, pray for safe travels and for wisdom, clarity, and guidance as she discerns the next steps the Lord has for her. Thank you church for keeping Helen in your prayers!

One of the joys of ministry is the opportunity to slow down, spend time with those we love, and simply walk alongside them.
During a recent visit to Michigan, we had the privilege of spending time with Dan and Mary. Between conversations, time at the beach, and sharing stories, we were reminded of the gift of relationships and the importance of encouraging one another through every season of life.
The Sytsmas have been an integral part of the Young Professionals group. We are thankful for the opportunity to encourage Dan and Mary and for the ways God continues to connect us through community and care.
