Sundays are simply the best.

There is something special about God’s people gathering together to worship, fellowship, learn His Word, and serve our great Savior side by side.

Today was one of those reminders of why the local church matters. We sang hymns together, bore one another’s burdens, encouraged each other in the faith, and heard a timely message on The Silence of God—how even His silence is often working for our good.

Nothing like watching God work in us, with us, and for us!

But the greatest blessing of all was seeing two precious souls trust Christ as their Savior. Nothing makes a Sunday more beautiful than seeing lives changed by the Gospel.

We’re grateful for every conversation, every prayer, every song, every lesson, and every opportunity to grow together as a church family.

If you know someone in the Denver area who is looking for a Bible-believing church where they can learn God’s Word, grow in their faith, and build meaningful relationships with other believers, we’d love to welcome them.

Today we remember.

As Christians, the Bible teaches us to “give thanks always for all things unto God…” (Ephesians 5:20). On this Memorial Day, we pause with grateful hearts for the men and women who served our country and gave their lives in that service.

We are thankful for the freedoms and liberties we enjoy every day. While we understand that every good gift ultimately comes from God, we also recognize that the Lord often works through human instruments and willing sacrifice.

Freedom is never free.

May we never take lightly the price that was paid by so many so that others could live in peace and liberty.

Today, let us give thanks.
Let us remember.
Let us honor those who paid the ultimate price.

What a blessing to see the first semester of New Heights Bible Institute come to fruition!

Last night, our students completed exams for both our Local Church and Rightly Dividing classes, and we could not be more thankful for what the Lord has allowed us to be a part of. There were some stressed looks, some sighs of relief, some smiles and maybe a few tears of joy last night…

Over the course of this semester, there were plenty of laughs, funny moments, sobering conversations, and honest discussions about the realities of ministry in the local church. There were also those wonderful “light bulb” moments as deeper truths were studied and understood in our class on rightly dividing the Word of truth.

We are so thankful for the commitment of our students, the dedication of our administrator, Bro. Jon Perlinger, and the faithful investment of our teachers, Bro. Tim Moore and Pastor Adrian Dominguez

And we also want to take a moment to honor the wives behind these men Lacey Dominguez Rachel Moore Laura Perlinger Without their love, sacrifice, encouragement, patience, and faithfulness, there would be no ministry like this. A BIG thank you to them for all they do, much of which is never seen, but is deeply felt and greatly appreciated.

The students also surprised Pastor, Bro. Tim, and Bro. Jon with thoughtful notes and gift cards, and it was such a sweet reminder of the spirit of gratitude and unity the Lord has built in this first semester.

This semester was more than just classes and exams. It was growth. It was discipleship. It was preparation. It was memories made around the BOOK, around God’s people, and around the thought - “Lord, here am I - USE ME!”

What a blessing to see the Lord put all of this together!

Here’s to summer break… and we are already looking forward to second semester in the fall!
