It is no secret when you read the New Testament that the LOCAL CHURCH is God’s vehicle to carry out His commission for this age! And at the center of the church is the MINISTRY of the WORD to EXALT CHRIST, to EDIFY the CHURCH, and to EVANGELIZE the WORLD!

What a blessing to be a part of what God is doing through our church to reach our local Denver community, and beyond…

While we are very well aware that “listening in” does not replace church, it sure is a blessing to have for those who aren’t able to make it, are sick or in the hospital, caring for loved ones, traveling and away from their home church, etc., to be able to listen in and hear the word of God being taught and preached by our Pastor Adrian Dominguez, along with other faithful ministers of the word!

There are a number of things we can look at in Scripture and see that God chose them - this is one of them - He CHOSE THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING, and we know that God’s choice is always best for us - we hope you can get a blessing from the ministry of the word here at NHBC, and if you are looking to “watch” us, subscribing to our YouTube channel is the ticket.. if you would like to simply “listen in” via our Sermon Audio app, we have done our best to make these as simple to use!

This Sunday is LEVEL UP ⬆️ SUNDAY for Sunday School!!!

Introducing our line up for this year’s “roster” of Sunday School teachers!

From Miss Anita’s .r.lovato nursery crew (believe it or not, once we see kids are able to sit still, even at the nursery level we want them to start learning about the Lord!), all the way through end of elementary school with Miss Lacey in 5th to 6th grade we are so thankful for teachers that prepare and pray, parents that bring their kids, and a church ⛪️ that values that you can’t learn everything in just one hour of a morning service!

Our other teachers here are Miss Sarah Fluech for K4-5, Miss Lupe for 1st & 2nd grade, and Miss Gaby for 3rd & 4th grade…

A big THANK YOU 🙏 to our teachers and our Sunday School Superintendent team- Bro Tim Moore and his wife, Miss Rachel , for helping to ensure our teachers are well equipped, encouraged, and engaged for these young lives being shaped!

without planning, preparation, prayer, and a particular purpose in what we are doing, our Sunday school ministry would not be the blessing that it is today!

We are so excited to kick off our 2026 to 2027 DISCIPLES’ KIDS BIBLE CLUB, which will meet every Wednesday night at 7 PM in our fellowship hall downstairs!

Brother Jon and Miss Laura Perlinger are excited to take on this ministry and continue with a great tradition of Bible education, games, Scripture memorization, and great memories made in a very foundational stage of life for these children!

“How shall they HEAR without a preacher!”…

This is the theme of Paul’s writing to the Roman believers, where he lays out the simplicity of salvation and applies in New Testament fashion, a passage from the book of Joel.

In Joel, tribulation saints are looking for the Lord to deliver them… In Romans, the believer is reminded that the Lord is nigh to any lost soul that recognizes their condition and calls on him for salvation!

But he asked these questions …

“ how shall they call him on him whom they have not believed?!”

“ how should they believe in him of whom they have not heard?”…

“ how shall they hear without a preacher?”

“ how shall they preach except they be sent?”…

It is Paul’s way of reminding us, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that salvation is simple, but it still requires human involvement to communicate the simplicity of the message and urge the lost to believe!

Thankful for the great commission, and for a great church ⛪️ family that is taking the message to our community in Denver and into the world 🌎!

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
