Join us for VBS at NHBC next week, Thursday June 25 - Sunday June 28!

We are so excited to invite you to join us… Hear a message from brother Jon Perlinger, who will also be doubling as “Grandpa Rusty”…

Fun, food, games, skits, and the opportunity for our kids to learn about how God takes things that are broken down, things that the world would consider to be junk, and he restores them with purpose!

We will be having a barbecue for the entire church to cap off our vacation Bible school on Sunday, June 28 !

We are so thankful as a church family to be able to put on this amazing ministry in hopes of reaching children with the gospel, and building our church kids up in their faith as well!

Our Men’s Preaching & Breakfast Fellowship was filled with great food, great conversations, sweet fellowship, and most importantly, time around the Word of God.

It was encouraging to see men of all ages gather together, sing together, pray together, and be challenged through the preaching of the word… we had them as young as 10 get up to encourage us in the word and as old as …. 😉

The congregational singing was especially uplifting. There is just something special about hearing a room full of men lifting their voices up to give Him the glory. The preaching was a blessing as several men opened the Book and genuinely ministered!

We are thankful for everyone who helped make the morning possible, for those that cooked our breakfast and for the spirit of encouragement that was present throughout the entire event.

Based on the response and the blessing it was, we’re already talking about doing it again later this year—and next time, we hope to invite even more churches to join us as well!

We love Sundays at New Heights!

This past Sunday was a special one as we welcomed several new members into our church family. Some have been attending for years, others just a few months, but every testimony reminded us of God’s faithfulness and His personal work in each life.

The congregational singing was uplifting, and the fellowship throughout the day was a beautiful reminder of what a church family is all about.

As a church, we generally strive to keep the main thing the main thing… to keep the great commission in the forefront….thankful to have been able to hear from a veteran missionary who has faithfully served in the Far East for decades. His testimony was enlightening, encouraging, humorous at times and sobering in others, and challenging as he reminded us that the Gospel is still the hope of the world, and that it transcends, culture and language and any other barrier!

One of the sweetest “small moments” came when one of our little ones decided to water the flowers at the front of the church, with a little help and oversight from brother Daniel and brother tony…..

It brought smiles, but it also reminded us of a simple truth: everyone has a part. From the youngest child to the oldest saint, God has given each of us a place to serve and belong!

We’re grateful for these new members who have joined us in our mission, our fellowship, and our pursuit of knowing Christ and making Him known. God is doing something special at New Heights, and we’re thankful to be a part of it.

What a special day celebrating Arianna .minguez at her bridal shower! 💐

It’s hard to believe that one of the original charter members of NHBC is getting married in just a few short weeks! Granted, she didn’t exactly have a say in joining the church—being only about 7 years old at the time—but a charter member nonetheless! 😄

Over the years, we’ve watched her grow from a little girl who was our church’s very first piano player, to a young woman who loves the Lord and wants to build her life on Him…

A huge thank you to all the ladies who came and showered her with love, encouragement, wisdom, and kindness. Amazing food, sweet fellowship, fun games, and a heartfelt devotion from

it is a blessing as a church family to watch young people trust Christ as their Savior, be discipled, grow up and make big life decisions like marriage!

Please continue to pray for Arianna and Isaac as they prepare to begin this exciting new chapter together in just a few weeks. We are thankful for God’s goodness and excited to see what He has in store for their future!
