FBC Weston has a long and rich history of God’s faithfulness. Be sure to swing through and read about some of that in the historical hallway that leads in and out of the west side of the Auditorium. Thanks to our Church Clerk & Historian, Debbie, for helping us to display some of our historical artifacts!

Shout out to the Building & Grounds Team and one of our Deacons for their great work on the Upper Lot and new steps leading to it. We are asking those who are able and willing to please consider parking up here first to allow the lower lots to be utilized for visitors and closest spots for those who need to park a little closer to the building.

It is good to be back at 900 feet! The mountains were beautiful and the perfect location for a period of rest and relaxation... and by relaxation I mean convincing my family to hike 30+ miles through The Rocky Mountains! We had such a wonderful time away. I spent a lot of time reflecting on Psalm 92 and Psalm 111. Both of these Psalms stood out to me as they give testimony to the works of God and Psalm 92 in particular references the good of reflecting on His work as an act of worship through song on the day of rest. Thank you for allowing the Sands Family the time. It was much needed and is not taken for granted.

With that said, Summer is in full swing and it is time to dive headlong into it. While we do not have a lot of ministry activity, the ministry that is happening is BIG! The two biggest, of course, our Women's Confernce and Vacation Bible School. Congratulations to our very own Mitch Giger! Well deserved.

This afternoon, Andy McNeely, President of the Northwest Region of the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals, presented Mr. Mitch Giger with the Exemplary New Principal of the Year Award during the middle school assembly.

This distinguished honor is awarded to only eight principals across the state of Missouri each year and recognizes outstanding leadership among principals serving in their first or second year in the role.

The West Platte School District proudly congratulates Mr. Giger on this well-deserved achievement and recognition.

God gives the growth and he certainly has! This Summer we are entering into a season of prayer seeking the Lord's wisdom on how to best steward the growth He has given to FBC Weston. Praise Him for such a wonderful issue to pray and think through. We are asking you to join us in prayer both privately and corporately. We will gather three times this Summer to spend time praying around together on how to best address facility needs and the vision we believe the Lord has for us as a church in a season of growth. Join us Sunday as we kick off this season by taking a look at God's work through a unified people!
