The Smithville Young Men, under the direction of YM President John Carlson, took a trip to Smithville Lake for some serious fishing.

Dear Parents and Youth,

As we prepare to listen to President Nelson's worldwide youth devotional tomorrow evening at 7:00PM he has given us special instructions in preparation for this historic address which include studying the Book of Mormon to prepare are hearts for his message. He has also stated that the purpose of this devotional is "to help you gain a vision of who you truly are and understand your role in the latter days."

The Prophet has encouraged us to have you meet as a group if possible. To make this easier on our ward my wife and I would like to invite the youth and their parents who are able to participate to meet in our home tomorrow evening at 7:00PM (please try to be a little early so we can be ready for President Nelson's message). I'd also like to invite everyone to bring one of their favorite desserts to share.

I hope to see as many of you there as possible, this is a special event that you will not want to miss.

Young Men's Schedule for the next few weeks

Wednesday the 29th - Meet at Owen Deckers home at 7pm
Friday December 1st - Camp out at Crows Creek
Tuesday December 5th - Temple Trip
Wednesday December 6th - NO ACTIVITY
Wednesday December 13 - Combined activity - Elementary School

Also, please let Brother Campbell know if you are attending the camp out on December 1st if you have not done so already.
