𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 - May 31, 2026
We encourage our children to be a part of the church.
It seems like that is hard to do when they are always swept away to a Children’s Class.
That is why we implemented 5th Sunday in our Children’s Ministry a few years ago.
A 5th Sunday only happens once a quarter.
On the 5th Sunday, all kids 1st Grade and older sit in the auditorium with their family.
(We still offer nursery and a class for the younger children.)
This allows the children to see and experience what church is truly about…worshiping Jesus.
Our kids always get a solid lesson, game time, and a snack, but church isn’t all about the fun stuff.
We feel this blended worship service gives the children the opportunity to know what to expect when they transition from Children’s Ministry, to Youth Group, to a functioning, spiritually mature adult in the church.
So, embrace the wiggles and giggles in the auditorium.
These children are the lifeblood of the church.
They are not the church of tomorrow.
They are the church of today.
