What a beautiful night at B’nai Torah! 🌟
Our community came together for a truly special Seder filled with warmth, laughter, and connection. We were thrilled to see such a wonderful turnout—friends old and new gathered around the tables, sharing in the traditions that bring us together each year.
A highlight of the evening was Rabbi Greg beginning the Seder with a playful, rhyming Haggadah—bringing smiles and a fresh energy to the storytelling—before guiding us into a more traditional reading that grounded us in the depth and meaning of the holiday.
Of course, the evening wouldn’t have been complete without the incredible dinner that nourished both body and spirit. But more than anything, it was the sense of community that made the night so memorable—conversations flowing, generations connecting, and a shared feeling of being exactly where we belong.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so meaningful. đź’™

Rabbi Greg's sermon gives 5 reasons why Passover is so popular.
There was a technical glitch, so it begins with reason 2.
Reason 1 was celebrating with family and community.

The video ends looking at the earliest depiction of a seder in Jewish text. It is incredible how much of it is still exactly what we do today.

What is Passover?
Passover (Pesach) is a central Jewish holiday that tells the story of our ancestors’ journey from slavery to freedom in ancient Egypt — a story of courage, resilience, and hope.

Each year, we gather for the Seder to retell this story through symbols, questions, and shared traditions. We eat matzah, taste bitter herbs, and reflect on both the pain of oppression and the joy of liberation.

Passover reminds us that freedom is precious — and that we are called to help bring it to others.
Chag Pesach Sameach — wishing you a meaningful and joyful Passover.

I hope everyone has a peaceful Shabbat.

Thought for the Day – Parashat Tzav:
Holiness isn’t only found in extraordinary moments—it’s built through the quiet, steady choices we make every day.
A kind word. A patient pause. A small act of care.
Today, let’s tend the “eternal flame” within us—one simple, meaningful action at a time. ✨

May you all have a wonderful Shabbat!

Shabbat Across America at B’nai Torah was a beautiful celebration of community. ✨

From table to table, members of all ages gathered to share a meal, meaningful conversation, and the joy of Shabbat. It was heartwarming to see new connections forming alongside longtime friendships, all in a spirit of warmth and welcome.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. We’re grateful to share these moments together.

Shabbat Shalom. May the peace of the day be with everyone.
