Great reminder from Charles Spurgeon on prayer:

“God the Holy Spirit assists you when you are on your knees, and if you cannot put two words together in common speech, yet He will help you speak with God. And if at the mercy seat you fail in words, you will not fail in reality, for your heart shall conquer. God requires no words. He never reads our petitions according to the outward expression but reads them according to the inward groaning. He notices the longing, the desiring, the sighing, the crying.... Remember that the outward of prayer is but the shell; the inward prayer is its true kernel and essence."

We're so excited to be hosting Over the Rainbow: A Symposium on LGBTQIA+ Death and Dying on August 22! 🌈

This symposium will create sacred space for real conversations about grief, mortality, and dying well as LGBTQIA+ people of faith — and we need your help to make it happen.

We're looking for speakers — chaplains and clergy, grief counselors and therapists, medical and hospice professionals, and community members with lived experience to share.

We're also collecting print resources for participant bags, including materials on grief and bereavement, legal and estate planning for LGBTQIA+ folks and families, and local hospice and support services.

We have an upstairs room for office space rental. It is a large (15x15 ft.) private upstairs office in the historic Pray.Think.Love House, just one block from Uptown Westerville. High ceilings (10 ft.) two large windows with abundant natural light and Uptown views, large closet/storage area kitchen access and a wonderful walkable location. (No elevator.)
