"God’s Work. Our Hands." Sunday is almost here!
Our church family is preparing to assemble hygiene kits to bring dignity, comfort, and care to our local unhoused neighbors. We are making one final push to stock our supply bins by August 30! Every single soap bar, razor, or tube of toothpaste brings hope to someone in need.

Urgent Need Checklist:
2-in-1 Shampoo / Conditioner
Bar Soap & Deodorants
Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
Razors & Shaving Cream
Feminine Hygiene Products (pads/tampons)
Combs or Brushes

How to Help This Week:
Budget Tip: Grab items for $1.25 at Dollar Tree (Platt near Pavilions or Fallbrook Center)!

Drop Off: Place items in the Sanctuary bins on Sunday morning or drop them at the office during business hours.

Next Sunday, our church family gathers to serve our unhoused neighbors by assembling essential hygiene kits, and we need your help filling the bins!
Bringing even a few items helps restore dignity and comfort to someone in need.

Most Needed Items: 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, toothbrushes/paste, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, and combs.

Our office and Preschool will be closed Monday, September 7 in honor of Labor Day.
Labor Day is a day to pause, reflect, and celebrate the people whose effort keeps our communities and workplaces moving forward.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and restful holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.

New Men’s Fellowship Group Launching at SOV

Looking for a space to connect, grow in faith, and build strong relationships with other men in our community? Pastor Rod and Parish Life are launching a new Men’s Fellowship group at Shepherd of the Valley, featuring regular gatherings for spiritual growth, biblical learning, and casual social get-togethers.

First Meeting: Monday, August 31 at 6:30 p.m.

Once again, our faith community is coming together to assemble hygiene kits for our local unhoused neighbors. Every kit provided restores dignity, comfort, and care to someone in need.

We need your help stocking our supply bins before August 30!

🛒 HIGH-PRIORITY WISHLIST:
100 Shampoo / Conditioner (2-in-1 combo preferred)
100 Bars of soap
100 Toothbrushes & Toothpastes
100 Deodorants
150 Razors
100 Shaving creams
50 Packs of pads or tampons
100 Combs or brushes

BONUS EXTRAS WELCOME:
Hand sanitizer, wet wipes, nail clippers, sunscreen, and Chapstick/Vaseline.

HOW TO DONATE:
Drop Off: Place items in the Sanctuary bins on Sunday mornings, or drop them off at the church office during the week.
