Cameroon Well-Digging Initiative - Good News! Our congregation has reached the goal of raising over $5,000 to fund the digging of a well this summer for a community in Cameroon. At an upcoming worship service, we will pray over Valantine Che as he prepares to travel to Cameroon and lead this project. Well done!

First things first - they are ONLY retiring from being the choir director and organist. They will remain members of this church and continue to be active in other areas. After worship that morning, we will go down to Fellowship Hall for lunch. We will then head back to the sanctuary to hold the celebration. You will hear about a lot of things Roger and Roberta have done through the years and share some laughs. We will have two collection boxes in the church hallway for donations. One at the back of the church by the bell-tower doors and the other is on the welcome wagon / coffee cart. You can drop cards or letters into the box, which will be presented to them at the celebration. You can make donations by cash, check or Tithely. Money, cards, and letters can be given to Heather, placed in the collection plates, or dropped in the dropbox outside the church office. All donations will be credited to your account. The boxes will only be out on Sunday morning - if you cannot be at the event you can mail them to the church with a note. Community Supper Grant - WCPC received a $1,000 grant for our Community Supper program from St. Anne's Episcopal Church. We continue to seek support of all kinds from area churches and organizations. We thank them for partnering with us to help those in need in our community.

THIS Sunday is Milestone Sunday! We are asking all children ages kindergarten - 5th grade be here to practice singing with Natalie at 9:30am this Sunday in the Sanctuary. If you have received milestones in the past, it's time to grab them from your special storage spot at home and bring your bag to church to collect your new stone! Our congregation is excited to celebrate YOU!

Sew Powerful will meet on Wednesday, May 13th from 9:30 am - noon in the Adult Sunday School room. All levels are welcome! Contact Holly Flischel for more info. Our goal is to construct specifically designed purses to help girls stay in school all month long and allow them to pursue secondary education which improves their chance of breaking the cycle of poverty in Zambia.

Children and Family Ministry updates - The Music Machine on Sunday morning - We invite all families with children ages 5 through 5th grade to join us in worship to enjoy The Music Machine. This beloved children's program teaches the Fruits of the Spirit through engaging songs and stories. Nursery care is available for ages 4 and under, we will NOT have Worship extension Sunday morning.

As we approach the season of graduations, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate all of our members who have recently graduated from high school, college, or any other educational program. If you, or you know of someone who is a part of our congregation, and has graduated, please let us know by contacting Jessica Whitmore . We want to honor your hard work and dedication during an upcoming service on May 10th. Congratulations to all our graduates, and we look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you!

Cameroon Well-Digging Initiative - We will once again be helping to fund a well-digging project in Cameroon this summer. Church member, Valantine Che will be returning to Cameroon in June and plans to drill a water well in a needy community. This is a freewill offering from the people of our church, but pastor Tyler has offered the challenge that if we meet the goal of raising$5,000 for this project, he will shave his beard!

Kroger Community Rewards: As many of you already know, our church is enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. This program provides our church with a monetary reward on a quarterly basis based upon purchases made by enrolled participants at Kroger. A digital account is required for enrollment. WCPC's organization number is MG443. The Customer Service desk can assist with setup if needed. Enrollment instructions can be found here: https://www.kroger.com/i/community/community-rewards. Cross Wall Display - New members may not be aware of the stories behind our beautiful cross display in the front lobby. We encourage you to take time to view this display and the meaningful stories behind each cross in the book nearby. Each of these treasured crosses has been donated to this project and represent the strong faith of our church community. If you are interested in donating a cross,
