“Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.” 2 John 1:8 NIV

Today, we are surrounded by a constant flood of information, but not every voice speaks the truth. Social media can spread ideas quickly, yet unverified messages can mislead and harm. This Scripture lovingly warns believers to stay alert to deceivers and false teachers, who often seek personal gain rather than the truth of the gospel. Let us remain watchful, rooted in faith, and guided by wisdom and discernment so that we may protect what God has entrusted to us.

“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14 NIV

Striving for peace is a beautiful goal, and it's completely normal for differences, misunderstandings, and past hurts to sometimes get in the way. Keep in mind that building peace requires self-denial, patience, and a heartfelt connection with God—centered on holiness. Genuine peace comes from forgiveness, humility, and a sincere desire to follow God's will. Even when challenges come your way, His grace lovingly strengthens you to live with integrity, remain holy, and nurture harmony with those around you. Let’s aim to live in harmony with others—that’s what God truly desires.

“The LORD takes care of those who obey him, and the land will be theirs forever. They will not suffer when times are bad; they will have enough in time of famine. But the wicked will die the enemies of the LORD will vanish like wild flowers; they will disappear like smoke.” Psalm 37:18-20 GNT

The Lord is a compassionate judge who carefully cares for the righteous. His promises give us hope of inheriting blessings if we follow His word. But consider that those who choose not to follow Him may face difficult consequences. Even if they seem to thrive for a while, their ultimate destiny rests in God's loving hands. Remember, God's perfect awareness makes it hard to overlook what is right and wrong. It's comforting to know that God sees every mistake, which inspires us to do our best to choose what is right. Live according to God's loving plan, and He will be your protector, ensuring justice comes at the perfect time.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NIV

Today is Pentecost Sunday, marking 50 days after Easter and the Church's birth. It reminds us of Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit, our Comforter. Pentecost highlights that God is always with us, inspiring us to witness in love and obedience. We need not feel weak, uncertain, or afraid, for the Spirit provides the comfort and strength to be witnesses everywhere—from our homes and churches to the entire world. Let us proceed with the Spirit's strength, embracing our role as faithful followers of Christ! ゚

“Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good.” Psalm 25:6-7 NIV

Praying to God for forgiveness is a meaningful way to help us recognize our mistakes and rebuild our relationships with God and others. When we pray honestly, we draw closer in fellowship. Scripture reminds us that if we confess our sins, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us, showing His mercy, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, demonstrating His grace (1 John 1:9). Acknowledging our sins encourages humility, lifts the heavy burdens of unforgiveness, and, most importantly, helps us reconnect and communicate with God more deeply.

“I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, LORD, as you know. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.” Psalm 40:8-10 NIV

Our deepest desire should be to surrender to the will of God and to boldly tell others all that He has done, all that He is doing, and all that He will continue to do. When you have seen His faithfulness carry you, His mercy cover you, and His power strengthen you, you should want to share it with others. Through every trial, every victory, and every season of growth, God has proven He is worthy of our trust, all our praise, and all our obedience. Our life should be more than words—let it be a living testimony that points people to His goodness, His grace, and the saving power of His name. No matter where life takes us, my prayer is that we will never be ashamed to speak of His greatness and to give Him glory for all He has done and all He has yet to do.

“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalms 139:16 NIV

God has intentionally, purposefully, and divinely planned our lives. When everything is going smoothly, you might believe this. But when facing difficulties, you may ask, 'God, why am I experiencing so much pain and hardship?' It’s crucial to recognize that if you believe God designed your life, even in tough times, God desires our surrender and wants us to view circumstances from a higher, eternal perspective rather than just a human one. This understanding isn't easy and calls for complete trust and faith in God, as mentioned in Mark 11:22. Have faith in God!

“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” 3 John 1:2 NIV

Being called a dear friend makes you feel special and loved. The word “dear” often evokes a cozy warmth and a sense of genuine connection. In this message, the Apostle John writes a heartfelt letter to someone he cares about, wishing him well and expressing affection and admiration. It’s wonderful to be held in such high regard and to have blessings prayed over you. John’s prayer describes how his friend lives—what he calls “walking in the truth.” But what is that truth? It’s the truth of God’s word, which we should all strive to live by every day.

“Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.” Luke 21:17-19 NIV

Being judged unfairly can be incredibly confusing, especially when you feel innocent. It's natural to feel a mix of anger and pain, and the situation may seem unreal as you try to make sense of it. Remember, Jesus faced similar challenges—his purpose was to guide us toward God, even as many held opinions that conflicted with that mission. You may face this too, but Jesus shows us how to remain grounded in God's truth. Continue trusting His Word and have faith that, in the end, you'll come through stronger and victorious.
