It was a day filled with fun, fellowship, and connection as we kicked off Men & Women’s Weekend at Mount Carmel!

The women enjoyed an afternoon of Paint & Praise, while the men gathered for a time of bowling and brotherhood.

We’re looking forward to closing out the weekend together in worship at our Annual Men & Women’s Celebration beginning tomorrow at 11:00 AM.

⚔️🏰 Kingdom Quest VBS 2026 is coming to Mount Carmel! 🦁💎

This Summer we’re taking our young people on a journey to discover God’s Kingdom! We’ve got exciting lessons, fun activities, music, games, and new friendships planned. Children will learn what it means to follow Jesus and live as citizens of HIS Kingdom.

Sunday at Mount Carmel, we heard Part 2 of the message “Catching Up” from Joel 2:28–29, and we were reminded that God does not just restore us so we can feel better, He restores us for purpose, fruitfulness, and Spirit-empowered living.

God restores.
God pours out His Spirit.
God gives us the help to we need to LIVE!

Congratulations to Sister Pearl Dorsey on her appointment as Mount Carmel’s Director of Community Partnerships!

Sister Dorsey is a former educator who, in retirement, has continued to live out her passion for education and community service. She currently serves as our Program Director for the East Miner Collaborative CDC and has also been faithfully assisting Mount Carmel’s Trustee Board with administrative tasks.

This appointment reflects the work Sister Dorsey is already doing. In this newly-created role, she will continue working with Pastor Boyer and the Church Leadership Team to facilitate strong relationships with our rapidly growing list of community partners.

We celebrate Sister Dorsey’s heart, service, and commitment to the Mount Carmel community!

This weekend at Mount Carmel, we enjoyed our regular 5th Friday Fun Night with food, fellowship, and games. Then, on Sunday, our young people led us in worship for Youth Sunday. Through our pastor, God spoke a word to encourage us that He is a restorer and that He can always catch us up.

After service, we continued the fellowship with more food, fun, and ice cream sundaes.
