Unitarians two centuries ago were both very different and very similar to today's Unitarian Universalism. Last Sunday, the great William Ellery Channing himself dropped by from 1819 to deliver excerpts from his most famous sermon - a classic of Western religion popularly known as "The Baltimore Sermon."

Fortunately he brought a translator.

On July 4th, the nation observed its 250th anniversary. On July 5th, we turn to the next 250 years. What will our vision be? This service will include a story for all ages as well as a special song from Rev. Dan.

Our sanctuary is decked out for our Sunday service! Rev-Dan Schatz will be joined by several of our LGBTQA members and friends, as we celebrate "The Art of Pride." The service, which begins at 10 am on Sunday, June 28, will include special music from The Spirit Singers and others, poetry, reflections, dance, and even a Shakespearean scene! Before and after the service, works from LGBTQ artists and activists in our congregation will be on display, and ALL are welcome to join us for a potluck lunch after the service.

This Sunday, June 21st, 2026, our 10 AM service will be "The Longest Day" - This is a hybrid service, both in-person in our Sanctuary, and live-streamed on our YouTube Channel (link below).

On the Summer Solstice we celebrate light, life, and the return of darkness with readings, song, and reflection. This service will include a brand new song for all ages from Rev. Dan as well as a reflection from David Blackburn.
