We’re pretty blessed to call this place home. From walks along the Columbia River to afternoons at Pybus, mountain views, local orchards, and a community that makes this valley feel like home, there’s a lot to be grateful for right here in the Wenatchee Valley!

This week, take a moment to slow down and thank God for where He’s planted you. Then find a way to make it a little brighter: encourage a neighbor, support someone local, invite a friend for coffee, or simply share a smile.

What’s one thing you love about living in Wenatchee? 💬💛

There’s probably someone in your life you’ve thought about inviting to church. And maybe every time you think about asking, you talk yourself out of it.

“What if they say no?”
“What if it gets awkward?”
“What if they think I’m weird?”

But what if they say yes?

The Good News was never meant to stop with us. Sometimes sharing it starts with one simple invitation. So send the text. Make the call. Ask the person God has put on your heart. 💛

And if you’re looking for a church to call home, we’d love to have you tomorrow at Calvary Crossroads!

Marriage has a way of teaching you just how important two words are: “I’m sorry.”

In case you didn't already know, you’re going to mess up. Your spouse is going to mess up. And if repentance and forgiveness disappear from a marriage, eventually the relationship gets crushed under the weight of everything nobody will let go.

Pastor Jay points to marriage as a picture of something bigger: our relationship with Jesus. When we sin, we repent, and we find forgiveness in Him. That same rhythm should shape the way a Christian husband and wife treat each other!

Sometimes the most Christlike thing you can do in your marriage is admit you were wrong. Sometimes it’s choosing to forgive when your spouse does. 💛

💬 Which tends to be harder for you: saying “I’m sorry” or saying “I forgive you”? Let's talk about it!

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
-Ephesians 4:32 📖

Thankful Jesus doesn’t have a “you’ve reached your forgiveness limit” notification. 😂😅

Why does Scripture call Jesus the Lamb? Because from beginning to end, God has been showing us how sinners can be welcomed into His presence.

The Passover lambs, the sacrifices, John the Baptist pointing to Jesus and saying, “the Lamb of God”, they were all pointing forward to the cross. And there, Jesus said, “It is finished.” 🙌🏼

That’s how seriously God takes our sin, and that’s how deeply He loves us! The invitation to the marriage supper is an invitation from the Lamb who gave Himself for us.

When you hear Jesus called “the Lamb of God,” what does that name mean to you? We'd love to hear your thoughts! 💬

“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
-John 1:29 📖

Some of the best church memories have nothing to do with the building. They’re the conversations after service, the friendships that started unexpectedly, the moments you laughed way too hard, the trips, the worship nights, and the people who showed up when you needed them.

Church is about people, and sometimes, those people become family. 💛

💬 What’s one of your favorite church-related memories?

What if God isn’t the one pushing you away, you’re just convinced He is? 👀

It’s easy to picture God as impossible to please, especially when you know where you’ve messed up. But that’s why Jesus came. God wants to save us, and we were never going to fix ourselves enough to earn our way to Him.

So when you blow it, don’t stay down. Repent, get back up, and go to Jesus. God isn’t out to get you. 💛

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
-John 3:17 📖
