A church in the country, a home for your heart.

Who are you really? Are you defined by the flesh, fear, shame, and the need to prove yourself, or are you defined by what God says about you?

In this sermon from Romans 8:9–17, we look at the believer’s new identity in Christ. God says His people are not in the flesh but in the Spirit. We belong to Him, we are called to live by the Spirit’s power, and we are invited to walk as children of God rather than slaves to fear.

Through the Holy Spirit, we are reminded that we are loved, forgiven, adopted, and secure in the inheritance God has given His children. Quiet down the voice of the flesh and listen to what the Spirit says: you are His.

This phrase is the ultimate definition of a life well lived. You do the eternal and timeless (God’s purpose) in a contemporary and timely way (in your generation). That is what the purpose-driven life is all about. Neither past nor future generations can serve God’s purpose in this generation. Only we can.”

“No matter what your family is going through tonight, you need your church family tomorrow morning.

Here’s why: 👇🏼

We are instructed to gather.

We need preaching.

We need the fellowship.

We need the smiles and laughter.

We need the Worship.

We need to serve.

We need each other.

We need to be faithful when we don’t feel like it.

We need to meet new people.

We need God’s presence in our life.

Whether you feel like it or not.. you need your church family!

See you tomorrow!”

“The Gospel is not a threat meant to scare people into obedience, and it is not God standing far away waiting to condemn. It is mercy stepping into a broken world and calling the lost home.

It is not, “Turn to Me or I will send you to hell.”
It is grace saying, “You are already lost—come to Me, and I will save you.”

The heart of the Gospel has always been rescue, not rejection. Love that pursues, not anger that abandons. A Savior who doesn’t wait for the perfect condition, but meets us in the place we cannot fix on our own.

This is not fear-based religion. This is saving grace.” 🤍🙏🏻

“A title can be claimed.
A church seat can be occupied.
Bible verses can be quoted.
Even the name of Jesus can be spoken with the lips while the heart remains far from Him.

But fruit cannot be faked forever.

The fruit of a life surrendered to God will eventually show in the way a person loves, speaks, forgives, serves, repents, and lives. Christianity was never meant to be a performance of appearance—it is the evidence of transformation.

Jesus didn’t say we would know His people by popularity, reputation, or religious image. He said we would know them by their fruit.

And healthy fruit only grows from a life connected to Him.” 🤍🙏🏻
