L’ovdah ul’shomrah—to till and to tend.

Today is Earth Day—and our our tradition calls us to act. Join the Green Team at TBE and the Wellesley Conservation Land Trust this Saturday at Guernsey Sanctuary to clear invasive plants and help restore balance to the land.

Saturday, April 25 | 10 AM–12 PM Wear work clothes & bring gloves. 6th grade+ welcome with an adult. Learn more at TBEWellesley.org.

TBE is excited to launch Scribing Our Story!

Let’s hear about why Scribing Our Story, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to come together as a community to create a new Torah, matters so deeply to our congregation. We hope that every member of our community will participate by writing a letter, dedicating a letter or Torah portion in honor or memory of a loved one, or giving a gift as part of this initiative.

Unfortunately, our special Shabbat speaker, Yoel Levy , will not be able to join us tonight. We send him our condolences as his family mourns the death of his beloved grandfather. Check out this clip of the video he sent to our community this week.

His story—of running marathons around the world in a Batman costume as a tribute to Ariel, Kfir, and Shiri Bibas—continues to inspire with its message of Jewish pride, resilience, and hope.

In place of the originally planned dinner and program, we invite you to join us for Shabbat services and to participate in a meaningful show of support. Community members are invited to stop by TBE by noon on Saturday to pick up bright orange signs (in honor of Yoel and the Bibas family) to cheer him on along the Boston Marathon route. Your presence and encouragement will mean so much as he runs in a new city, especially during this time.
