We come together from all stages of life to engage in Jewish learning, activities, and pursuits.

Temple Beth Elohim is a warm and inclusive Reform congregation, dedicated to creating a sacred community engaged in joyous, participatory and meaningful prayer, lifelong Jewish learning, excellence and innovation in education, and dedicated social activism. We are committed to realizing the idea of our synagogue as a sacred home driven by Jewish values. We are steadfast in our efforts to cultivate an open and caring atmosphere in which all members are actively involved in the life of the congregation, the State of Israel, and the local, national and international Jewish communities, building bridges of understanding with other faith communities through communication, study, and a respectful exchange of thoughts and ideas.

Learning, listening, and walking in history together. Our Civil Rights Journey travelers along with Rabbi Sherman have been exploring the history of the Civil Rights Movement and its ongoing legacy in the South. In Atlanta, our travelers visited the Carter Center and heard from CEO Paige Alexander on the Center’s ongoing work for peace, health, and human rights around the world. In Montgomery, our participants visited the Rosa Parks Library and Museum, remembering how one act of courage helped move a nation. Justice, justice shall you pursue.

Simchat Torah is almost here, and we're celebrating with a Shabbat to remember!

Join us this Friday, October 2 at 6:00 PM as we complete the yearly cycle of reading Torah and roll right back to the very beginning. There will be singing, dancing, and plenty of joy as we carry the Torah together as a community.

All ages are welcome. Bring your family, bring your friends, and bring your dancing shoes! 💃🕺🎉📜

7 years of Sharim! 🎉🎶

Since 2019, the Sharim Singers have been showing up with song, welcoming new Americans at naturalization ceremonies at Faneuil Hall and the JFK Library, and bringing beloved melodies to seniors in memory care communities across the area, where music can reach hearts that words no longer can.

Seven years of showing up for our neighbors, old and new. Here’s to many more! 💙

Little hands, big hopes. This Rosh Hashanah, some of our youngest community members (and their families!) sat down together to create the first links in our Interactive Chain of Torah, each one decorated with a hope for the new year.

It’s part of Scribing Our Story, our community-wide journey to write a brand new Torah together in 5787. Every link connected into one long chain, just like letters become words, and words become our story.

That’s what the High Holy Day season is all about: a fresh page, and the chance to decide what we write next, together.

Rain couldn’t rain on this birthday party! Our TBE community gathered at Belkin Farm to celebrate the birthday of the world on second day Rosh Hashanah. Grateful for every soggy, joy-filled moment and every person who showed up to celebrate together. Shanah Tovah! 🌧️🍎🍯
