☀️ Welcome to the Boondock Collective stream.

We audited what Starlink Mini actually uses off grid, and it settled around 20 to 40 watts while working with about 15 watts at idle and a short startup spike near 60 watts. Running it all day adds up to roughly 600 to 960 watt-hours, while limiting it to work hours keeps use closer to 200 to 280 watt-hours. It can run directly on 12 to 48 volt DC without an inverter, which saves conversion loss. Set sleep hours overnight and you keep the connection ready without draining the bank.
