Most people are sad when summer fades into fall… but not us! At Nativity, fall means back to Choir — and we couldn’t be more excited.

Whether you’ve sung for years or you’re thinking about giving choir a try, this is the perfect season to jump in. Come experience the beauty of music as we lift our voices to God together and fill our sanctuary with joy.

✨✨Reflections of the 2026 Synod Assembly

Last month, 3 of our Members had the honor of representing Nativity at the Annual Florida-Bahamas Synod, ELCA Assembly.

This 2026 Synod Assembly reminded us once again how the Holy Spirit moves through community. We’re grateful for the conversations, worship, and shared discernment that shaped our time together.

Thank you to everyone who represented Nativity Lutheran Church, Donna Olsen, Nina Vaznelis, Juliet Wright and of course Pastor Giuseppe Mattei with faith, curiosity, and courage. Your presence matters. Your voice matters. And your commitment to Christ’s mission continues to guide our congregation forward.

As they return home, we carry renewed hope, deeper connection, and a shared call to serve our neighbors with compassion and joy. May God continue to lead us as we live out the Gospel together.

✨ Nativity Lutheran Church at St. Pete Pride! ✨
This past Saturday, June 27, our community joined Lutherans for Love, an LGBTQIA+‑affirming faith network across Florida, at the St. Petersburg Pride Festival, Trans March, and Parade. What a joyful, hope‑filled day.

We marched alongside partners in faith, handed out free inclusive books, and celebrated the truth that God’s love welcomes every person fully and without exception. 🌈

Nativity remains committed to showing up, speaking up, and living out Christ’s radical welcome — in our congregation, in our neighborhoods, and out in the streets where love is needed most.

❤️ All are beloved. All are affirmed. All are welcome.

What an incredible evening at Mary's Fish Camp with our Nativity Lutheran Church family. There’s something so special about gathering outdoors — the sound of the water, kids laughing as they fish, the smell of campfire s’mores, and a table full of potluck goodness. Our Nativity Lutheran Church Family Fun Night at Mary’s Fish Camp reminded us how blessed we are to share life together.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun.

Let’s keep building memories together. The night was filled with so much laughter, connection, and God’s beautiful creation all around us. Grateful for every smile, every shared moment, and this amazing community. ❤️
