Salem’s bell will ring today, July 4, 2026, at 2:50 PM along with other churches and community organizations throughout the country in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The bell will ring 13 times, one ring for each of
the 13 colonies. Times have been coordinated so bells across the country will ring together.
