One of the cherished events of Texas Campmeeting was our Retired Ministers' and Widows' Luncheon. It was a wonderful opportunity to honor those who have faithfully served the Lord and the Church through the years, as well as the widows who have stood beside their loved ones in ministry and continue to be a treasured part of our church family.

Their faithfulness, sacrifice, prayers, and dedication have helped shape generations and leave a legacy that continues to impact lives today. We are grateful for the example they have set and the investment they have made in the Kingdom of God.

Special thanks to each of you! It was our privilege to celebrate you and express our appreciation during Texas Campmeeting. Your legacy continues to inspire us all.

Today was a special day at the Texas Church of God Campgrounds as we dedicated our new pool and mini golf/activities area. What was once a dream discussed and prayed over for decades has finally become a reality.

Seeing families gather, children laugh, and generations enjoy these new spaces together was a powerful reminder that God is faithful to bring vision to fruition in His timing. We are thankful for everyone whose prayers, sacrifice, generosity, and hard work helped make this possible.

This dedication marks more than the opening of new facilities, it represents a legacy being built for future generations to make memories, build friendships, and experience the blessings of fellowship for years to come.

What a beautiful sight it was to witness decades of dreaming become reality. To God be the glory!

The Texas Church of God family is heartbroken by the tragic event that unfolded today in Midland, Texas.

Our prayers are with every victim, every grieving family, those who were injured, and the entire Midland community as they walk through the aftermath of this senseless act of violence. We are also praying for the law enforcement officers, first responders, medical personnel, and emergency workers who courageously placed themselves in harm’s way while serving and protecting others.

One of the responding police officers is a member of the Church of God in Midland. We thank the Lord for His protection over this officer and praise God that he is safe. At the same time, we recognize that many others are hurting, and we continue to pray for every person whose life has been affected by this tragedy.

The Psalmist declared, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). In moments when answers seem difficult to find, we place our trust in the One who is near to the brokenhearted and able to bring comfort, healing, and peace.

I encourage every TXCOG congregation to remember the people of Midland in prayer this weekend. Let us pray for healing for the wounded, comfort for those who mourn, wisdom for community leaders, and strength for all who continue to serve on the front lines of this situation.

Midland, please know that the Texas Church of God stands with you. You are not alone. We are praying for you, and we are believing God to minister His grace and peace to every hurting heart in the days ahead.
