✨ Respect and Community: A Note on Church Attire ✨
Dear Parishioners and Guests,
As the beautiful, warm summer weather arrives, we are so grateful to see our church community gathering in such wonderful numbers. Our church is a sacred space for all of us, a house of prayer, a place to encounter God, and a home where we come together as a family of faith.
To help maintain a reverent and dignified atmosphere for our liturgy, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of appropriate church attire. The way we dress is an outward sign of our respect for the Blessed Sacrament ✝️ and a reflection of our love for the community we pray with.
🌿 Keeping Summer Attire Reverent 🌿
✨ ️Classic Sunday Best Over Casual Wear
While high temperatures naturally call for comfort, we ask that our attire for Mass reflects the dignity of the church, rather than a trip to the beach 🏖️, the park 🌳, or the gym 🏋️. Classic, modest summer clothing is always appropriate.
✨️ Covered Shoulders and Modest Length
Please ensure that shoulders are covered and that clothing is modest and fitting for a sacred space ⛪.
✨️ Appropriate Footwear
We kindly ask that you choose proper footwear. Please leave beach flip-flops, slides, and Crocs for recreational time 🌴.
Our doors are open to everyone, and all are truly welcome here. Let our shared care for how we present ourselves at Mass be a beautiful reflection of our Catholic tradition and our deep respect for the sacred.
📖 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Let us work together to ensure that our surroundings and our appearance help us all focus on the presence of God.
Thank you so much for your understanding, your kindness, and the mutual respect you show to one another every day.
🙏 God bless
