✨ We’re honored to partner with Khora Collective to offer FIVE scholarships for women to attend our Common Thread Retreat this June.

Khora Collective creates a spacious place for Asian American Christian leaders to use their power for good. Rooted in generosity and collaboration, they’re helping us make room for more women to experience rest, reclaim their personal narratives, and experience meaningful community.

Through this scholarship, recipients are invited into a weekend of connecting with other women who share similar identities and experiences.

More than financial support, this is an investment in the holistic flourishing of each woman who attends.

“God did wonders for me at this retreat. He gave me peace again after being so close to cancelling the day before because I got into a fender bender. But He knew I needed to be among other Christians. He removed the stress that I felt the day before and replaced with the love that I felt from friends that I knew and new people that I had just met. As soon as I entered the location of the retreat, a wave of peace, comfort, and stillness came upon me. The retreat made me realize how important it is to belong to a community who share my identity as an Asian American Christian woman. God showed up big connecting me with so many other Asian American Christian women. He even paired me with a roommate originally from Hawaii like myself. Only God knew we were both from Hawaii. ✨Because Asian American women need a dedicated space to reclaim their personal narratives, honor their God-given identities, and build lasting, soul-deep connections.
✨Because our faith is richer when it embraces our multicultural, intergenerational experiences, and reminds us that we are woven together into God’s greater story.
✨Because Asian American women need space to discover their God-given callings and the tools to walk it out.
✨Because Asian American women need a safe landing to be received and loved.
✨Because it is incredibly empowering and liberating to be in a space that not only understands, but also champions and uplifts the uniquely lived experiences of Asian American women of faith.
✨Because there is much to be share, much to be given, and much to receive among sisters and friends.

Sunlight, samosas, stories, and a beautiful celebration of Indian culture made this time so sweet… because a fuller expression of our faith as Asian American women makes room to celebrate all of our cultures. 💕
