How the horse reacts to his hero will stay with me forever ❤️

Ten years ago, Jess Taylor was relaxing by the pool at her family's vacation home in Mallorca, Spain, when she heard a very unexpected sound.

Somewhere nearby, a donkey was braying. 🫏

Jess immediately wanted to find him, but her dad warned her that it probably wouldn't be easy. Still, she was determined. She started exploring the area, climbing over stone walls and making her way through the shrubbery until suddenly, a little head appeared.

Jess quickly discovered that Donkey had quite the personality. He's a little shy and likes to play hard to get, sometimes making her work for his attention.

But what started as one unexpected meeting turned into a tradition that's lasted an entire decade. Every year for the past 10 years, Jess has made a point to visit Donkey whenever she returns to Spain.

He might not technically be her donkey, but after a decade of visits, he's become one very special part of her trips home. ❤️
