This week in JUDA, we had such a fun and meaningful week filled with learning, creativity, and excitement. Our younger classes learned the Hebrew letters Kuf for clay and Reish for rainbow, and began learning about the beautiful holiday of Shavuot. We spoke about how Hashem gave the Jewish people the most precious gift of all, the Torah, and how the Torah fills our lives with light, guidance, kindness, and sweetness. The children enjoyed tasting a delicious sweet treat while learning that just as candy is sweet, Torah is sweet too! The students also created beautiful Mother’s Day projects with so much love and enthusiasm for their mothers.
Our older classes learned all about the siddur and explored the five levels of tefillah and the many ways prayer helps us connect to Hashem. The students had so much fun making adorable edible siddur crafts while learning about prayer in a creative and hands on way. They also made thoughtful Mother’s Day cards, practiced for our upcoming Shavuot play, and enjoyed participating in a raffle for an Amazon gift card. We are so proud of all the excitement, growth, and beautiful learning happening each week at JUDA!
