This week, our team has been busy working to move families one step closer to recovery:

📋 Planning & Zoning: Staff attended a meeting to support a variance request needed for a homeowner’s recovery.

💙 $9,000 Grant Awarded: Funding was secured to help a homeowner move forward with a full demolition and replacement of their home.

🔎 Home Inspection: We completed an inspection to assess the damage caused by Hurricane Milton and determine the next steps toward recovery.

Recovery doesn’t happen overnight and it takes a lot of coordination, advocacy, funding, and hard work behind the scenes.

We’re grateful to be part of the process and to walk alongside our families every step of the way. 💙

Watching these homes come down can be bittersweet, but we know what comes next. The old is making way for something safe, secure, and functional—a place this family can finally call home again.

🏠 **Help Us Turn a House Into a Home** ❤️

After Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Milton, families in our community have spent years waiting, rebuilding, and looking forward to the day they could finally come home.

For some, that day is finally here. But a new home is just the beginning. Many families are starting over and still need furniture to make their house feel like home.

We’re asking our community for **gently used furniture in good or like-new condition**. We are especially looking for items from **pet-free and smoke-free homes**.

🌍 : Praying for Nepal 🙏

Today, we’re turning our hearts toward Nepal, praying for those affected by this catastrophic disaster. Pray especially for those who are hurting, for families and communities in need, and for the unreached people groups who have yet to hear the hope of the Gospel.

Lord, bring help, healing, and hope to Nepal. Open doors for Your Gospel and place Your people where they can be Your hands and feet. May many come to know the love of Christ through this tragedy. Amen. ❤️
