First Methodist Church of Wauchula Sunday School for adults and children at 10:00am
Worship Service at 10:55am

Wednesday programs 6:30pm We strive to Know God, Love Others, and Serve the World.

We want to see the greater Hardee County area do the same. We learn more about God through our Sunday morning Worship gatherings, Sunday School classes for all ages, and growing Home Groups. We Love Others through our Wednesday Night dinners and through the relationships we are developing there. We also Serve the World through programs such as our Feed My Sheep ministry. Jeremiah was a great prophet. He spoke to a country about like ours, about 25% believing in the God of the Bible. The people had turned to worshiping the popular Gods. The fun Gods. The Gods that helped them get ahead in business. Jeremiah preached that only in turning back to the Biblical God could peace be restored and the country be saved. He called each person to return to worshiping the God of the Bible. Only in the God of the Bible would they find living water, new life, and hope.

We are in similar days. There are many Gods to choose from. But only one God who created the heavens, the universe, and your body. There is only one God who has had his hand upon you since before you were born, has a plan for your life, and a home reserved for you in heaven.

We are a church that worships the God of the Bible. Come join us Sunday morning!

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.
Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Jesus:

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

As we gather with family and friends today, may we pause with gratitude, pray for military families, and remember those who served with courage and sacrifice.
