Sophie Davis InterVarsity is celebrating Black Christian content creators who are unapologetic ambassadors for Christ. Pop out to our Elevating Black Voices Event on Thursday, March 10th at 6:30-8pm! The event zoom link is in our bio.

Our amazing speakers will be talking about their experiences as a Christian and advice for others who would like to spreading the gospel (either by being a small group leader, being a Christian content creator, etc), and those who simply want to grow in their personal relationship with God. Our speakers include Julia Boateng ( .boateng ) and Aliya Griffiths ( .alive )! They will be talking about their techniques and strategies that they use in their personal Bible study in order to grow in their personal relationship with God. We hope that this event cultivates your Bible study techniques and inspires you to continue to grow in your personal relationship with God!

Need a study break? Want to break the monotony of your daily studying? Spend some time serving the underserved! Live out the Sophie Spirit of Service! Meet us at NYC Love Kitchen located on the corner of 145th Street and Broadway on November 16th between 2-4:30pm!

Feel free to come and leave whenever you want to during this time.

It is an outside food pantry so please dress accordingly for the weather.

On Thursday, October 28th at 6:30 pm EST, Sophie Davis Intervarsity will be having a "Navigating College and Medical School as a Christian!” event! This event will be the first in our Large Group discussion series where we aim to facilitate thoughtful conversations about topics relevant to us and our world at large. For this event, we have gathered Christians with valuable life-experience and different perspectives on how to navigate college and medical school as a Christian. We look forward to seeing you there!

Hi!
Please fill out the link in bio if you would like to be a member of the Sophie Davis Intervarsity's Singspiration Team!
The goal is to perform at least at the Intervarsity monthly big events in solos to full-choir performances; as our team grows, we may re-evaluate! This form will help us understand your musical background, comfort in performing, and preferred instruments. That’ll determine what practices and performances will look like. Currently all rehearsals and performances will be done virtually, but we may make arrangements to be in-person if enough people are interested.
The preferred deadline is September 8, 11:59 PM. But you can also join later in the semester- you may just miss a few meetings :(
On the other hand, membership is not binding. If at any point of the year you feel that you can no longer keep up with being a part of the team, please let us know.

Now more than ever, we need to be more knowledgeable about the signs of sexual assault and how to heal from it. In order to raise awareness, Sophie Davis Intervarsity will be collaborating with Sophie Davis Student Government, AMWA CCNY and Sisters of Sophie to host a sexual assault awareness Zoom event.
