⚠️ You can’t defeat an enemy you don’t understand.
One of the enemy’s greatest strategies is deception. If he can keep us distracted, discouraged, divided, or disconnected from God, he gainsan advantage. But scripture reminds us that we are not ignorant of his devices.
The more time we spend in God’s presence, the more clearly we recognize the tactics of the enemy. Through prayer, God’s Word, andintimacy with the Holy Spirit, we gain discernment, wisdom, and spiritual awareness. What once caught us off guard becomes exposed bythe light of God’s truth.
Don’t just know about God. Know Him intimately. The closer you get to Him, the better you’ll recognize what is from Him and what is not.

Set Apart. Chosen. Called.
In a world that celebrates fitting in, God calls His people to stand out. Bishop Kenneth Chism reminds us that there is nothing wrong with being peculiar when you belong to God. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, called out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Holiness is not isolation. It is identification. It is living as those whom God has set apart for His purpose and glory.

The call is just the beginning—the real transformation happens in the process. 🔥

Today, Minister Brandy Williams challenged our Youth & Young Adults with a powerful message from the “Follow Me” series: ”What Happens After You Are Called?”

We learned that being called by God isn’t the final destination. The calling gets you through the door, but dedication to the process is what molds you into who He designed you to be. It takes commitment, daily surrender, and a willingness to be refined.

Backpacks, school supplies, and so much MORE! 🎒❤️

We were honored to partner with the Ward 5 Educational Equity Committee (Ward 5 Education Equity Committee )for their Back-to-School Drive! It was an incredible opportunity to serve families, build meaningful relationships, and show up for our community in a tangible way.

At Restoration House International, we believe the church is more than a building—it’s people loving people, serving people, and building community together.🙌🏾

We’re grateful for the families we connected with, the business owners and organizations we met, and the partnerships that are growing because we chose to show up. A special Thank you to Ward 5 DC State Board of Education representative Robert Henderson for Ward 5 SBOE and DC Council representative Zachary Parker !

This is what community looks like. This is what partnership looks like. And this is church.❤️

This is not the church.⛪️

The building is a place we gather, but WE are the church.❤️

The church is found in the love we share, the joy we experience, the connections we build, the burdens we carry together, and the lives we impact beyond these walls.

It’s in the hugs. The laughter. The prayers. The worship. The conversations. The community. The moments when someone reminds you, “You’re not alone.”
