What a great time we had on Sunday, making greeting cards for Meals on Wheels clients! Together with our friends at New Milford Edenville UMC, we made 62 cards to light up peoples' day!

Our United in Mission team made and served an excellent brunch after church on Sunday (and had a great time doing it)! Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, we raised $1,000 in one day, bringing our total to $1,400!

It's not too late, however, to support our mission trip next week with a monetary gift! After worship on Sunday June 28th, our United in Mission team will be cooking and serving a breakfast taco brunch to any and all who come! Food is free, but there will be a free-will offering to help cover the costs of their mission trip in Milford, CT July 5-11. Whether you can donate $1 or $100, we hope you'll join us for the good food and company and to hear more about the trip!

Congratulations to our confirmands!! On Sunday, after a year of classes, meeting with mentors, and doing independent projects, six young disciples chose to commit themselves to Christian discipleship! 🙌🎉😎

Two weeks in and we're over 10% (113 names) of the way to reaching our 1,000 names goal!

As a church, we're trying to get to know our neighbors better and so have set a goal of collectively learning 1,000 names. We'd love everybody's help in this, so if you're willing, go out and learn some names of the people around you! Then add them to the chain in the narthex the next time you come to church.

A couple Sundays ago, we started something fun and new! We want to know our neighbors better, so we're starting with their names. We set a goal for ourselves to, as a church, learn 1,000 names. Then, each Sunday, we'll add the names we learn to a growing chain of names decorating our narthex, reminding us of the beautiful collage of people we meet every day. All are invited to participate! So go outside your comfort zone and learn the names of the people you don't know. Who knows what sort of connections you might form?!

After one week we added 62 names! Only 938 more to go!

Join us this Holy Week as we walk with Jesus through his final days, death, and resurrection! This Easter Sunday, in addition to our normal Sunday services, we'll have a brief sunrise service in our outdoor worship space at 6:30 a.m., followed by breakfast inside!
