We are part of the Lutheran Church of the Missouri Synod. Our motto is Family in Faith; Faith in Family. Peter Lutheran Church was founded on 5 June 1901 by Volga German immigrants from Yagodnaya Polyana who had settled nearby Pine Island. The orignal church burned down on Christmas Eve of 1917 and the present edifice was erected in 1918. The descendants of these early VG families still attend St.

Pine Island is a hamlet just west of the town of Warwick, New York, not far from the New Jersey border.

This August, children are invited to journey through the wonders of God's creation at Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School at St. Peter Lutheran Church!

Over three evenings, kids will explore exciting Bible stories, enjoy hands-on crafts, play games, make new friends, and discover that Jesus is:

By popular demand and a true need in our growing congregation, St. Peter Lutheran Church is excited to announce the launch of Sunday School!

Beginning tomorrow, Sunday March 15, 2026, Sunday School will be offered for all school-aged children on the third Sunday of every month, immediately following service.

This new program is a wonderful opportunity for our children to grow in faith, learn about God’s word, and build friendships within our church family.

We look forward to seeing our young members learn, grow, and shine in their faith together.

Join us tomorrow at 5pm for our Ash Wednesday service. Ashes will be distributed at the end of service.
