This afternoon, after our staff finished their training for the day, we had some fun out at the fishing dock! We’re excited to be fishing with our campers next week!

We’re so excited for all the fun we’ll have at the pool this summer!

One week from today, the pool at Camp Echoing Hills will have lots of splashing and laughter! We can't wait! 🤽‍♀️☀🤽‍♂️

Our staff arrived yesterday for orientation week, which means less than a week until camp officially kicks off! We're excited to see how the Lord uses each of our staff to further His kingdom this summer. Take a minute to get to know our counselors, both new and returning!

Our last day in Cincinnati included a trip to the American Sign Museum! We got to look at different styles of signs from throughout the years and learn about how neon signs are made and repaired. We made a quick stop at Graeter’s Ice Cream before heading back to camp!

We spent Thursday, the last full day of our trip, at Kings Island! Some of the group’s favorite things were the carousel, the Antique Autos ride, and the Phantom Theater. We even ran into our friend Daniel from Tennessee! We finished off the night with dinner at Montgomery Inn - the Boathouse.

We had a full day in Cincinnati on Wednesday! We did the Captain’s Lunch Cruise on the Belle of Cincinnati, explored the Newport Aquarium, and attended a Reds baseball game! At the aquarium, we had opportunities to touch stingrays and sharks. A few people were even brave enough to walk across the shark bridge!

We spent today at the Ark Encounter! Our day included riding the carousel, going through the petting zoo, exploring the ark, and shopping in the gift store. We finished up the day with dinner at Hofbrauhaus, where our campers were gifted ballon creations!

What a great first day of our Cincinnati trip! Our first stop was Skyline Chili for lunch. Then we spent the afternoon at the Cincinnati Zoo before going to LaRosa’s for dinner! First on the agenda for tomorrow is the Ark Encounter!

Acts 20:24 was meaningful to Lia in her time at camp, “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the good news about the wonderful grace of God.” She has continued to share the good news at camp during our weekend respites!

We are officially ONE MONTH away from our first campers arriving for the summer! Our theme this year is “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made,” based on Psalm 139:13-18. We’re excited to learn with our campers, staff, and volunteers about what it means to be made by our Creator who loves us!
