Today at Walker Pentecostal Church, we celebrated Father’s Day and were blessed by a powerful message from Pastor Rouse from Psalm 127.

Pastor preached on the picture of children being “arrows in the hand of a mighty man,” reminding us that fathers have a God-given responsibility to shape, guide, and prepare their children for the purpose God has planned for their lives. Just as an archer carefully crafts, aims, and releases an arrow, fathers are called to have a hands-on influence in the lives of their children—instilling faith, character, conviction, and direction.

The goal is not to keep the arrow in your hand forever, but to prepare it to be launched into its God-given future with confidence and purpose.

We are thankful for the godly fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who faithfully invest in the next generation. Your influence reaches farther than you know.

“As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.” — Psalm 127:4

Our first Ladies Art Night was such a wonderful evening of laughter, creativity, and fellowship that we just had to have a Part 2!
