Fervent Church is a diverse, family-friendly Christian community located in Voorhees, NJ.

We focus on real relationships, authentic worship, and relevant teaching to help you grow in faith and connection. Fervent Church was founded in 2012 by Pastor Mike Rosado in Hoboken, NJ. We are now based in both North Jersey/NY and South Jersey with weekly meetups throughout each region. More than just a place to meet on Sunday mornings, we strive to reach people every day with the love of Christ and help make genuine, lasting life changes.

Problems are always bigger when you’re tired. Before you blow it out of proportion, ask: is this a real crisis, or am I just spiritually, physically, emotionally tired? Take the nap first. Then decide how big it is. Save this for the next time everything feels like a disaster.

Religious pride starts the day you forget how broken you are.

Church people do this best. We forget we’ve been broken since the garden, and we start grading everybody else.

The cure isn’t thinking less of yourself. It’s remembering. The more you see your own brokenness, the more patience you have for theirs.

Broken explains it. It doesn’t excuse it.

Send this to the most judgmental person you love, and then check yourself first.

Nobody claps for the person on the soundboard. Today we do.

You saw the lights, heard the sound, and felt the moment. You probably didn’t see the people who made all of it happen.

They set up before you walked in. They’re running cues while you worship. They tear it all down after you leave. A lot of them barely get to sit in the service they build.

Honor is giving somebody weight. This is us giving them some.

Swipe through. Look at these faces. Every one of them is why somebody walked into church and felt something.

Tag someone on the worship or production team who makes your Sunday happen.

Most churches talk about reaching people. Few put leaders on the front line.

Last Sunday we prayed over the new leaders joining FRVNT Reach, our outreach team.

They’re not signing up to sit in a room. They’re signing up to go find the people everybody else walks past.

Real love has to show up somewhere. This team is where it does.

Anger is easy to access. It is almost never the real thing. Next time you feel it, play fill in the blank. I am angry because I am afraid that... Finish that sentence honestly and you will find out what is actually happening. Try it one time this week and watch what comes up.

Yesterday we sat down with an acoustic set and said what we were really feeling. Anger included.

No script. No polish. Just real people in a real room.

Turns out the quiet version of worship makes space for the loud version of honesty.

Here is the culture. We choose to be flawed before we choose to be fake. Because God can work with flawed. He cannot work with fake. One of those He can build something out of. The other one He cannot even get His hands on. Which one have you been giving Him?

This is what we're building.

Our first FRVNT Social outing was 30 people bowling, talking, laughing, and becoming actual friends. No agenda. No program. Just real community happening on a Sunday afternoon.

This is the whole point. Friendships beyond Sunday.

If you were there, tag someone you're bringing back next time. If you weren't, you're coming.

Your confidence problem might not be a confidence problem.

You took credit for something you didn’t do and nobody caught you. Felt like a win.

It wasn’t. You walked away one notch more insecure than you woke up, because you know. You always know.

A lack of conscience will always produce a lack of confidence.

You cannot affirm your way out of a thing you did.
Save this for the next time you’re tempted to take the shortcut.
