Let’s commit this new season and school year to the Lord during our Prayer & Fasting Day tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9th! 🙏

The Sanctuary will be open from 6:30AM-7:30PM to come pray alone or with family and friends!
There will be pastor-led corporate prayer gatherings in the Sanctuary from 6:30AM-7AM, 12:30PM-1PM, and 6:30PM-7PM.

There is a possibility that construction may be taking place in the small east parking lot. If the east lot is unavailable, please park in the main west lot and follow the sidewalk around to the east Sanctuary doors.

Let's commit this new season and school year to the Lord! Mark your calendar, and join us as we pray and fast as a church family this coming Wednesday, September 9th! 🙏

The Sanctuary will be open for you to come and go anytime from 6:30AM-7:30PM. Come pray alone or with family and friends!
We’ll have several pastor-led corporate prayer gatherings from 6:30AM-7AM, 12:30PM-1PM, and 6:30PM-7PM.

Please park in the small lot by the Sanctuary, and enter through the Sanctuary doors. Prayer guides will be available this Sunday at the Connect desk in the Porch!

It’s such a joy to watch the kids in our church family learn and grow as they lay a foundation of participating in community! Their uninhibited excitement brings so much joy! Their genuine questions and applications as they study the Bible in Sunday School and SPLASH are encouraging and beautiful!

VBCC is so blessed to serve these precious little ones and their families, and our Family Ministry Team is excited to partner with parents and volunteers to foster a community that helps our kids know Jesus and make Him known! 🙏

Young Adults, God loves you, and so do we! You’re in a unique life stage that can sometimes feel like an “in-between” - pressure to start a career, big changes after leaving the familiarity of high school or college routine, and trying to find your people!
We’re so thankful to have programs for Young Adults at VBCC from Sunday School class to Friday Night Fellowship, and our annual Lake Gaston Retreat!!! 🚤⚓️🌊

Young Adults age 18-25, join us Sept 18-20 for a fun weekend at Lake Gaston where we’ll worship, pray, and hang out!

The cost for the trip is only $20 per person! There are only a handful of spots left, so sign up before registration fills up, and come make some fun memories together!

As we transition out of summer mode at VBCC, we kicked off our Community Series and are so excited to highlight different ways to get connected in transformational community! Last week we shared about opportunities for Women’s Bible Study, and today we’re highlighting some exciting Men’s Ministry programs!

Men of all ages, come out for Wednesday Morning Bible Study this fall, or join our evening Every Man A Warrior group for fellowship, accountability, prayer, and time in God’s word! Contact Houston about joining a Prayer Trio to walk alongside other brothers-in-Christ in meaningful relationships that will bless you and call you up in your discipleship!

On the cusp of a new season we often examine our routines and habits, taking stock of what’s working well and what goals we want to pursue. Is being a part of meaningful community in your local church on that list when you examine your schedule? How could you use the time and gifts that God has given to you to pour into others, and how might God want to pour into you through His people this fall?

Gathering together to enjoy fellowship around God's word is such an encouragement! You’ll make friends, grow in your discipleship to Jesus, and experience the joy of following Him in community! If you’ve been coming to church on Sundays feeling like you only know a few peoples’ names and haven’t quite “plugged in,” this would be a wonderful place to start! We’ll save a seat for you!

Our Community Groups Fair is THIS Sunday, August 24 from 10am-12:15pm in the Porch! The Groups Fair is a great opportunity to see what community groups are available starting this September, to meet some of the leaders, and to sign up to receive more information or be added to a group! 🎉🙌

We truly believe that Christianity is a team sport, and at VBCC we desire to provide opportunities for you to enter into transformational community that will carry each other's burdens, speak truth in love, pray for one another, spur one another on to love and good deeds, and know God and make Him known together!
