Fresh Food Wednesday is in full swing!

Every week, this parking lot becomes a place of hope, connection, and community. Volunteers arrive early, food is sorted and packed, and hundreds of families receive fresh groceries and encouragement.

Today, we are reminded that ministry happens in moments like these. A smile. A helping hand. A bag of groceries. A reminder that no one walks alone.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who show up week after week to serve our neighbors with compassion and grace. Because of your dedication, lives are being touched in meaningful ways.

Healthy & Holy Walking Group

Start your Saturday with movement, reflection, and community.

Join us this Saturday, June 6, at 9:00 AM at First Landing State Park (64th Street Entrance) for our Healthy & Holy Walking Group.

Our time together will begin with a 10-minute guided mindfulness walk, offering an opportunity to slow down, notice God’s presence, and connect with creation. After that, you’re welcome to continue walking with the group or head back whenever you’re ready.

The trail begins on the Cape Henry Trail, an out-and-back route that stretches up to 7.5 miles, so you can choose the distance that’s right for you.

Whether you’re looking for exercise, fellowship, spiritual renewal, or simply a peaceful start to your weekend, we’d love to have you join us.

Rediscovering Our Methodist Roots

Roots give us the stability and nourishment we need to grow and break new ground. As we seek to grow in faith as individuals and as the church, looking back at the deep roots of the Methodist movement can help us look forward to our future.

More than traditions or rituals, our Methodist roots are evidence of God’s Spirit moving through our history and the same Spirit is still breathing life into us today.

Throughout this series, we’ll explore themes like baptism, grace, personal and social holiness, holy conferencing, and communion as we rediscover the heart of our Wesleyan heritage together.
