Churches within Virginia Beach and the surronding area are very active in missions work and in supporting missionaries around the world. Each church operates in its own mission projects and programs independently. We hope to create a network of sharing and ecumenical learning from one another. As a non-demoninational organization, Regent University is uniquely positioned to provide a context in which churches and organizations can converge for networking and learning.

Hello! Today's the day:

The Center for Global Missions (CGM) is having its 1st Ghana Interest meeting at 6:30-7:30 pm!!

We'll also have a fundraiser tonight and 2 nights in December at Skinny Dip from 6-8 pm! 15% of the proceeds go to CGM and fund events we host throughout the year! Tonight is the night the interest meeting. It will be held from 6pm to 7pm in the Divinity building room 170. If you are not in the local area you can still view the meeting via Skype! There will be an information session for the Ghana 2015 trip on Monday May 4th from 6-7pm in the Divinity Building room 170. If you are a distance student or will be out of the area, you join the session email [email protected] with your Skype name and I will add you to my Skype account. It is a beautiful day to pray! Come on out to the Regent University campus Library Plaza and pray over the nations, until 5pm. You may be enjoying some time outside in this wonderful weather, but in other parts of the world people are terrified to go outside. Let us gather and pray for places such as those, that God would move in powerful ways to release chains and empower his people anew!

Our vision is for the Regent community to pray for the nations and to become God's hands and feet in the world. The Center for Global Missions invites you to attend Africa Night on Friday April 10th from 5:30 to 7pm in room 203 of Robertson Hall on the Regent campus. Dr. Clifton Clarke will be presenting a talk on North African Christianity. Tanzanian missionary and Regent alumnus Gina Helms will also be talking on her work in Tanzania. There will be food and if you own African clothing, please feel free to wear it to the event. See you there!
