Tomorrow, is going to be POWERFUL!

Pastor will be starting a brand-new series at called “A Wilderness Experience.”

The wilderness isn’t always a sign that you’re going in the wrong direction. Sometimes, it’s the very place God uses to prepare you for what’s next.

Before Jesus stepped into a powerful season of ministry, miracles, healing, and impact, He went through the wilderness and while He was there, He faced temptation and showed us how to overcome it.

I really believe there’s something in this series for all of us. We’re going to talk about temptation, prayer, the Word of God, and why the seasons that feel empty can actually become some of the most important seasons of our lives.

If you’re walking through a wilderness right now, don’t waste it. God may be doing more there than you realize.

We are in a battle. The enemy is shouting, trying to gain control, and is not backing down.

We as the church cannot be silent any longer. Let’s be a voice for God and a representative of who he is.

It’s time to spread his word and lift up those around us in prayer!

This Sunday is Generation Sunday! Every 5th Sunday, all ages come into the sanctuary for a combined worship experience. It’s powerful, life changing, and refreshing to see how God is moving in this Generation.

Pastor Ryan will be preaching from 2 Kings chapter 6, continuing his series from last week: “Don’t Lose Your Cutting Edge”

Another exciting thing happening Sunday is we are having a Water Baptism during the morning service for those who have recently been saved, recommitted their life to Christ, or feels the need to bury some things in the water.

It’s going to be a powerful Sunday and most importantly, Jesus will be there! Ready to save, heal, redeem, and set free those who are bound and oppressed!

We want to invite you and your family to join us for worship tomorrow at Renovation Church!

Pastor Ryan will begin a 3 week series from 2 Kings 6 on “Don’t Lose Your Cutting Edge”.

Tomorrow He will be preaching on the danger of certain atmospheres. The axe head broke off and landed in the water in 2 kings chapter 6. The head was cutting so the head wasn’t the issue. However, the handle could have been exposed to certain atmospheres that made it weak.

You and I are the same. Some atmospheres weakens our effectiveness and causes us to lose our cutting edge.

We want to invite everyone to join us tomorrow night for our Back to School Blessing.

It is a night where prayer becomes intentional and where we come together to pray for our students, their teachers, their classmates, and their schools.

It’s going to be an unforgettable night and we want you to come and join us!

Yesterday, Pastor Ryan preached a challenging message from 2 Kings 4 entitled “A Borrowed Oil.”

It was a call for us to rebuild the altars in our homes and to recover a reverent fear of God, not just when we’re at church, but when no one else is watching.

In 2 Kings 4, the widow told Elisha that she had nothing left in her house, “save a pot of oil.”

She saw nothing but a little oil.
But Elisha heard, “There’s still some oil in the house.”

And sometimes, a little is all God needs to start with.

If you haven’t been praying, start now.

If you haven’t been reading your Bible, start now.

If you haven’t been faithful to church, start now.

If you haven’t been teaching your children about Jesus, start now.

Don’t despise the little oil you have left.

A little oil can go a long way when God is continually pouring into your home.

One statement from the message that has stayed with us was:

“YouTube and the throne room are not the same place.”

We can watch sermons.
We can scroll through preaching clips.
We can listen to podcasts, reels, and shorts.

But none of it can replace getting alone with God.

When Elisha told the widow to go into her house, he told her to shut the door.

And in Matthew 6, Jesus taught us that when we pray, we are to enter into our closet and shut the door.

There are some things God wants to pour into your life that won’t be found through another scroll.

At some point, you have to shut the door.
Put down the phone.
Open the Bible.
Get on your knees.
And get alone with God.

Media platforms can be a tool, but they will never replace the secret place.

🔥 Rebuild the altar. Shut the door. Protect the oil.
