For over 133 years First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has been be a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. We believe in unity, and in community-building, and community-service. We are often characterized by three major practices: (1) a simple confession of Christ is all that is required for membership,

(2) we practice baptism by immersion, and

(3) we celebrate the Lord’s Supper

each Sunday. As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us. We share in common a love for Jesus, open minds, open hearts, and open arms.
