WE ARE COMMITTED TO:
God's Word the Bible as verbally inspired, the infallible word of God, truth without error (2 Timothy 3:16). The Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God Almighty, "Crucified, risen and coming again" (Hebre
ws 9:24-28). The natural Depravity of Mankind, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Christ died for our sins. "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). Christ forgives all sins, "In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" (Ephesians 1:7). Each person must individually receive Christ. "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3). "But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12). That we receive Christ by Faith. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9). That He gives Eternal life. "I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish" (John 10:28). That He gives power to live a Victorious Life. "Thanks be unto God, which always causeth us a triumph in Christ" (2 Corinthians 2:14). And that He is coming again. "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). Our church's Confession of Faith is the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
