Today, members of the Sacred Heart Powerlifting team were featured as guest speakers at the Alexandria Kiwanis Club Luncheon held at Brocato’s!

The Kiwanis Club, a premier civic organization composed of local business leaders dedicated to serving youth and supporting programs like high school Key Clubs, hosts two guest presentations per month highlighting sports, community organizations, and public service initiatives.

During the luncheon, Sacred Heart student-athletes provided an overview of high school powerlifting and presented live demonstrations of the sport. The lifters represented Sacred Heart, the city of Ville Platte, and their sport with outstanding leadership and sportsmanship.

Special thanks to the Alexandria Kiwanis Club for supporting our young athletes!

Tickets for the Joe Nagata Jamboree (hosted by St. Ed’s) are $12 and are on sale now.

Make sure to grab yours directly through us, every ticket bought here means our school gets the proceeds, so let's keep that support right at home!

Tickets can be purchased at school at the following times.

Tomorrow (8/27): 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday (8/28): 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)

Due to the weather cancellation, anyone who would like a reimbursement for their ticket purchase (with the exception of the GoFan fee) can bring their proof of purchase to the school office to receive a reimbursement.
