“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ ‭

Jesus gave us a real life example to follow in what it means to lay down our lives for our friends so that we could experience true freedom. Many in our country have followed that example in serving their country on battlefields across the world to preserve our nation’s freedom. Today isn’t just a day off, but an opportunity to pause and reflect, and remember with gratitude the sacrifice made so that we could live in freedom.
